Excellent item: non toxic coating and is very easy to clean

I bought this at the request of my wife. We both love it and it is our favorite pan. The nonstick is awesome, which keeps the pan looking new. It cooks evenly with a pleasing color. We have been using it for many months, and it is holding up as new.

The description noted there was a kid but there was not disappointing. The pan is awsome. Nothing sticks to it and clean up is a breeze.

Oh my gosh I love this pan!!! It's perfectly weighted, heats evenly, is beautifully nonstick, and looks incredibly sexy! Leave it to the Italians to make a pan that looks this good. I have used plenty of much more expensive cookware, and much prefer this pan - All-clad ain't got nothing on Vesuvio! And what makes it even better, is that Vesuvio comes from a small family business - I love supporting a family business. Every thing about this pan is beautiful. The packaging was beautiful, it had a fantastic instructional booklet in the box, and the pan was very securely wrapped in bubble wrap. The first thing I cooked was a potato hash (photos included). I don't cook with oil, so nonstick is pretty important to me. This pan was perfect. I didn't have to add liquid to clean out the gunk that can form on a pan. There was none. And when I was done, a simple wipe with a sponge, and the pan was completely clean! I cannot recommend this pan enough. I'm hoping to get the 11.5" pan with a lid. I bought this pan for one specific reason - cooking eggs. Our kids are on a scrambled eggs kick and I wanted a superior nonstick pan for this purpose. At first, I was overjoyed - at last I had found the perfect pan. So, I made sure I followed all the directions and precautions. 1.) Always handwashed with dish soap. 2.) Always waited until it cooled down before washing. 3.) Only used 3M scrub sponges. 4.) Never used in the oven over 400 degrees. 5.) Only used silicone utensils. 6.) Seasoned with EVOO and not spray oil with propellants. After about 2 weeks of cooking eggs only, they started sticking like crazy. I wanted to give the pan the benefit of the doubt, so I went to the DaTerra website and found a short series of youtube videos on how to "restore" the pan. So I tried the baking soda test with the paper towels - but the powder was not turning grey despite fervent and prolonged efforts. The test indicated that there was no carbonization present. Then I scrubbed like crazy using a 3M scrub sponge, dish soap, and plenty of elbow grease, and then conditioned with EVOO in accordance with the instructions. Unfortunately, my efforts were fruitless as I discovered on my next attempt to cook eggs for the kids - eggs were stuck all over the pan. The nonstick properties on this pan were only a fleeting novelty for me so I decided to return this item.

I have used so many non-stick cookware & I cook a lot. I knew when I first use this pan that it would be one of the best non-stick pan I will have. The weight & handle are perfect for me; the height & curve of side of the pan is perfect, food doesn’t spatter or spill. I only wish it came with a cover. Highly recommend for seasoned cooks!

I absolutely love this pan! I was using another ceramic brand of pan but everything would stick to the bottom and not crisp because the crispy bit was being burned at the bottom. Same with pancakes and anything really. But this pan is perfect - no sticking of the food at all to the pan. It's incredible. 1000% recommend it. For the health benefits (not having teflon, etc. in it) and for how it really is non-stick! AMAZING.
