Vanity Planet Groove Scalp Massager (Minty Green) Rejuvenating Handheld Shampoo Brush, 2-Speed Vibrating, Water Resistant

I love this thing! I tend to have a pretty sensitive scalp so I was worried that this would hurt. It didn't hurt at all and I feel that it really helps get my scalp clean. Part of the reason I chose this one is because I have really thick curly hair and people said the vibration was really strong. Personally, I feel the vibration should maybe be stronger, as I don't feel it much on my scalp. It also didn't tangle my hair in any way and I have a lot less build up in my hair now. I bought the blue one because it was slightly cheaper than the other colors at the time of purchase.

I just got the massager today and of course I tried it right away. It is wonderful! The silicone pikes are not sharp and feel really good on scalp. I only used the first sped and it is more than enough of vibration for me. I think second speed is a little too much. I got mint color and it looks very nice too. The shape and size is perfect, not too small, not too bid and very comfortable to hold. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this massager to anyone.Update: I have been using the massager for about 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love it! Very comfortable to hold, feels great on scalp. My roots do not hurt anymore, I think because of increased blood circulation after regular massages. I will continue using it. Recommend it for sure!

I was so excited about this product. Worked great a couple times. Now it won’t turn on. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because it worked a couple times.Updated: Vanity Planet replaced my defective scalp massager. I was very please with the over all customer service and readiness to make my experience better. I will only suggest be careful with it in water. No direct contact with water and don't leave it in the shower. If you can follow those steps then I would recommend. I update my review from 2 stars to 4. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I have to watch how I handle it around water so that I don't mess it up again.

I purchased this in the minty green. My only complaint is that it didnt come in any particular secure packaging. Functionality wise, it is awesome and I highly recommend it. So it comes with 2 vibration settings. Personally, because the sensation of the vibration masks the feeling of scrubbing my head, I only use this outside of the shower. It helps me to more accurately clean my scalp and apply the same pressure throughout. I have a non-vibrating massager for shampoo and this one for applying product. I use this massager when i'm applying oils to my scalp and particularly around the edges of my hair. Not only does it seem to help everything penetrate deeper but is sooo soothing i could do it for hrs. Great purchase.

When I first started using this, I loved how it felt on my scalp and the fact that I didn't have to work very hard to work the cleanser into my hair. After a few weeks, I noticed it started malfunctioning. It would do nothing when I clicked the "on" button then spontaneously turn on 15 minutes later and scare the crap out of me. I discovered that water had gotten inside the device. Not just on the battery but on the actual electrical part. It was too late to return it through Amazon, so I contacted Vanity Planet directly and they are sending me a new one. So the customer service was great. We'll see if my second one lasts longer.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a really POWERFUL as all massager. It feels incredible on my scalp and will definitely be a staple for me to use for my hair routine. I sprayed some water mixed with a few drops of peppermint essential oil on my LOCS and used the massager and it felt so amazing, my scalp feels tingly and clean. I love it. It requires one AA battery and it comes with a tiny screwdriver to unscrew the back and put the battery in. Just make sure the back is on tight when you put it back on so it doesn’t get wet if you use this in the shower. Great product!

Look at this, two freaking years later and they finally stop selling this youtube influencer-shilled piece of C-R-A-P. I'm sure they made a killing off of this gimmick and decided to close up shop on it once their paid reviews stopped coming in.Good riddance, my only regret is that I never got a refund for this horrible item!The company contacted me once after my initial review and asked what they could do to make up for the products lack of function, I said "Refund Please" and they went comically silent!----------------------------------------Reviewed September 6, 2019My conclusion is that the "Vanity Planet Groove Rejuvenating Scalp Vibrations Handheld Massager" is a gimmick in itself! Here are my observations...A) The vibrating settings are not strong enough to lather or stimulate your scalp. Add to this the fact that the strength of the vibrations dissipate as they pass through the rubber brush tips onto your scalp.B) The soft rubber tips will tangle your hair, especially if you sport thick curly locks. And won't be easy to move along your scalp at all if you want to get some proper exfoliation going. Don't even think of using this if your hair is tangled!C) The Push Button to turn the device on, off, and speed change, was too stiff to try one handed.D) The "water proof" cover over the battery is NOT waterproof at all.I realized that using all ten fingers from my own two hands, laced betwixt my hair on my scalp, was more effective for massage, stimulation, exfoliation, and lather, than this one handed-weak vibrating machine.Using both my hands was also less exhausting than this device, as you cover more area on your scalp. You can literally get to spots with your finger tips, that this "massager" cannot. The efficiency of Vanity Planets scalp massager plummets to zero, simply because you will end up working harder than you need to just to make it work.But oh, what if you DO want a good (shower free) massager for your scalp?I recommend a -Mini Handheld Massager- you can easily find these in the big brand pharmacies for around $8, or on amazon for about $11ish. The smooth round bulbs tips of those massagers make it easy to glide over your scalp, and the vibrations are strong enough to sooth and stimulate blood flow and all those good things.(I bought the "Vanity Planet Groove Rejuvenating Scalp Vibrations Handheld Massager" about a year ago and silently accepted the shame that followed when I realized that I hyped up my own expectations, just because it looked and sounded "really awesome." Anywho, I've finally tossed the Groove scalp vibrator into the recycling bin. I leave behind this review as a word of warning to anyone who hasn't developed a healthy amount of cynicism when buying products recommended by "professional" youtube influencers!)

Cuidado con que se quede demasiado tiempo en el agua, pues se mete al aparato y arruina los circuitos.

It’s easy to use and cleans my scalp really well, no more itching which sounds really gross but my thick Afro hair is really hard to get 100 percent clean. This however, does the trick and it feels great while doing it. I use it at least twice a week and even use it to massage jojoba oil into my scalp. It’s great!

Faccio attenzione a non sommergerlo mai sotto l'acqua, di solito mi bagno i capelli, li districo con un po' di balsamo e poi procedo con lo shampoo ma l'acqua a quel punto la tengo chiusa.In generale aiuta per la crescita dei capelli perché rimuove il "build-up" che si crea sul cuoio capelluto (specialmente se usate prodotti contenenti siliconi) e promuove la circolazione del sangue. Ovviamente non si vedono risultati stratosferici nella crescita dei capelli se non si fa attenzione anche a cosa si mangia, quanto si beve e anche ai prodotti che si usano (specialmente per le ricce come me: è difficile ma evitate solfati e siliconi!!!!)

I saw this make on an American “curly girl” video.. I took the risk & bought it. I use it to massage my usual hair treatment oil into my scalp as I have very thin hair (Castor & Coconut)...The massager is incredibly relaxing so I use it while I watch TV at night and leave the treatment oil in over night. within a couple of uses my hair falling has drastically improved and I couldn’t be more pleased I took the risk...Will update if it breaks as other reviews state - though I contacted the seller who advised it has a standard two year warranty included. So not sure why are they complaining and not just having it replaced!...

OMG. Please buy this. I use this in the shower to scrub my shampoo out of my hair and I also use it nightly when I oil my scalp to help massage the product into my skin. The vibrations though.. they feel AMAZING. When I first received it I used it 3 times in a day because I was obsessed and didn’t wanna wait until the next day to use it again lol and scalp massages are good for brining blood flow to the hair follicles and that helps with hair growth!It comes with a screwdriver to open the back where the battery is. I love that it’s waterproof so I can use it in the shower.
