I can't say enough good things about this shaver!! It is quiet and cuts the fur so good. I don't use a guard so I can cut .y cats fur short. He doesnt have long hair but he has ALOT. It's probably close to 1.5-2" long. I leave about 1/8" or a little more. The first time I watched a video how to cut their hair. And he was squirmy. But the 2nd cut, he was much calmer. I have squeezable treats ready for when he gets squirmy and I have my daughter help me keep him occupied. He's and orange tabby though so he's super chill. I did cut my 7 mo kittens tail where his white fur was yellow and he didn't mind too much. Boy cats are chill though. This shaver charged so fast too! It came with scissors, a comb, a charging cord, and extra guards. Also oil and a brush for the blades to keep them clean. Love love love this shaver!! Go get you one!!

This is about my fifth or sixth purchase of clippers. I spent a good amount of money on a well known brand that was wired and my cat hated it... This is the first one that he actually lets me use on him. I think the other ones must hurt him... I've tried switching between this one and some of the old ones and he absolutely hates the other ones! This one is well made and the battery lasts a long time. I have a doll faced Persian cat whose fur gets matted very easily... He gets a lion cut twice a year and this saves me so much money and so much stress on him for not making him leave the house.

This is going to sound crazy but the hum of these clippers is so low that my cat just sat down and was purring while I trimmed his back. He had mats all along his back, was too chubby to clean himself even though we regularly brushed him. They work great and I'd give it a 10. Easy to use. Buzzed the mats right off. Comes with lots of extras. Totally worth the cost. Get it!

Charges quickly. Liked that it's cordless. It's quiet as it totes, so it didnt startle her. My cat didn't like it, but she hates being groomed and now she's pretty close to hairless now. If your cat's fur is matted, it takes a little work to get through it - you have to be careful not to nick them. I nicked her leg when I realized the setting was too low. If the mats are low and compact (i.e., lower legs) it does not do as well. It took about 4 hours to shave my 4lb Persian (but that's because she wouldn't stay still and tried to eat my hands) after 2 hours, the shaver was down to 40% battery left. We stopped for a recharge (all of us) The more you turn it on and off, or bring it up to the 70rpms, the quicker the battery is spent. Overall - I'd give it a 7/10. Works for what you need it to. Didn't get too hot. Still way better than a plug in shaver.

I have had to take my long-haired cat to the groomer many times because she would get mats on her belly. It would never been an enjoyable experience for anyone and she would always come home half-groomed but I had to pay for it. I have tried a lot of different trimmers and these are it! They cut through her hair like butter! It makes for a much more enjoyable (as much as it can be) and quicker experience for my fluff ball and me!

My 17 year old cat had some matted fur. After much research, I order a pair of Oneisall pet hair trimmers. They make a soft humming noise which did not scare my cat. They did a great job. They worked great for about 3 times. When I tried to charge them, they would not take a charge. I emailed customer service (Sue) and explained the problem. She quickly sent me a replacement! I used this already and they do the same great job as the first one.

I love, love, love this! I have a long-haired cat. I could not keep up with the knots. Bought so many brushes and scissors … and then I met this shaver. Did not use a guard. As long as you can get a little wiggle under the knot, the knots came off :). No knicks to their skin. So happy!

I am pleased with my purchase. I have an outside cat with matted fur on his back, which was sticky and unmanageable. I tried dematting shampoo and de-matting combs, but nothing worked. This shaver is strong enough to get rid of the matted fur and is easy to use. Highly recommend buying it.
