Good account of a musical genius
Overall, a very good read. I would've enjoyed it more if the author focused more on the creation of the music, but it certainly was well done and an interesting read. My only real complaint is the author barely touched on Plastic Beach, which is a very interesting album.

Enjoyable enough of a read, but so many errors!
A good enough read, but the book is plagued with editing issues, especially in the second half. If you're going to talk about a band, at least get the players names correct - Noodle is a member of Gorillaz, not Noodles. The section on Gorillaz self-titled album was horribly written - songs wrongly named. Even with the errors, it was a decent look into Albarn's career.

accurate
The author has well researched Damonâs musical career and showed his true character with respect for his private life. Great read.

Damon Albarn
So, Blur have been a group I could take or leave, I've never liked or disliked them and they have produced a handful of good songs. I've known friends who have been in on the rivalry between Oasis and Blur, to me you either LIKE them or you don't I find the groups are very different. I remember hearing the song Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz and thinking how good it was and not having a clue who was behind it at all. When I did discover it was Damon I was quietly surprised. Getting back to the book, I have enjoyed reading about Damon, his life, his groups and productions and I realise he is far more talented than I ever first thought. He has gone up considerably in my estimations and I would not think twice about seeing him if he tours again.
