I am very disappointed in King.My experience with King in the past is that they have been an excellent company to work with but today not so much.I am very disappointed with the KOP4800A that I purchased just before leaving on a 3-month motorhome trip. Their add implied that just hook-it-up and watch TV. I brought my DTV receiver from home and now that we are well down the road I can not get the system to work. (Because of poor planning on my part and a late delivery I didn't try it out at home.) It took two (2) days to get technical support from King and their on-line technical support is basically read the manual you are on your own. Bottom line is that my home DTV receiver is too new and is not compatible with the King KOP4800A top-of-the-line dish. Another words their top-of-the-line equipment is outdated, out moted, and OBSOLETE!Nowhere in their advertisement did they mention that their best won't work with modern DTV receivers.I spent well over $700 for the KOP4800A, tripod, and carrying case and it's all going back because in order for me to use it I need to purchase a $100 or $200 (records) receiver, a one-time $150 activation fee, and a $7.00 per month DTV service fee. Now we are pushing $1,000 just to start plus $7.00/month.Starlink is sounding better every day and it's more vestal with excellent Wi-Fi.No thanks, the King KOP4800A is going back.
