Quality, Water-tight Panniers
Purchased these panniers about a year ago, but wanted to get some time, weather, and miles on them before submitting this review; happy to report they are an excellent value for the price! Just used them riding about 400 miles along the Erie canal with 3 days being in the rain. Everything inside remained bone dry, closure is easy and really like the buckle across the middle which helps to keep the seal tight from unraveling. These have the mounting brackets higher up on the bags than others, and as such had to mount them off the upper bar of my rear rack making it more challenging each day to mount my trunk bag over them. Bought a trunk bag that secures in the rear along the sides rather than a single strap that must be fed underneath the rack across to the opposite side - this solved the access issue. I ride a Lectric Xpress ebike, your bike/rear rack may not have this issue, but be aware of it. This is a quality made product, like how the carry handles also release the mounting hooks, very easy to get on and off - would definitely buy again

Love these and the price for a twin pack was great
I am starting to bikepack. I have used other paneers on several guided tours so I’m familiar with the features of various styles. These have all the features one would want like, waterproof, roomy, fit standard racks, and have a hook to stabilize against the rack. They seem well made, I’ll try to remember to update how they are holding up in a few years. Overall I am very happy with them. The lower down hook is very adjustable which is a nice touch. However, the latches that allow adjustment come off easily when released. I can see how you could lose one if you don’t lock it back down. RockBros give you extra ones and I put them in the bottom of the bag just in case. The release for the top clips works very well and I was able to remove and put a paneer back on while standing over my bike. The only problem is the bag is big enough that I have to be careful I don’t overpack 😆

Very good mid-range panniers
This is my third set of panniers in 10 years for a full time biker, used in commuting, shopping, and long bike tours, so I have put them all through their paces. The Rock Bros pannier set is so far exceptional and plenty big enough for all my needs. I did get two although the picture only shows one mounted. I've had this set for about six months so far and have had no issues with the mounting or material. I like the mount clips, they work very well and stay put, even with very heavy loads (30-40 lbs+ each). The straps are adequate and long enough on the sides but I have had times where the top one won't reach the clip because I filled it so high, even though I could close it. They are definitely not the lightest, being made of Gomex and having a sturdy side board inside to prevent folding (which works really well, no issues with full loads moving around or poking out where they shouldn't). Also, obviously, the Gomex makes them 100% rain proof if closed properly so if you're looking for a breathable material this is not it. My main complaint is a big one, and what I feel is a major design flaw in the product. There is no dedicated lifting strap, just the small strap that pulls the mounting clips up and off the rack, which is fine for light loads but I guarantee will one day fail with heavier loads. I take great care not to lift the bags with that strap because it is about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch at most of thin fabric and it will fail over time. They should have made a sturdy lifting strap over that like the other panniers I've used. Other than that I think they are excellent touring and general use panniers that not only look sharp but are waterproof, sturdy, and very large inside and fold down nicely when empty as they are in the pic.

GREAT DRY GEAR BAGS FOR LONG BIKE TRIPS!
I used these bags riding the GAP and part of the C&O trails. They worked great! It was a long trip in a LOT of rain and mud. They stayed perfectly waterproof the entire time, but it’s not a bad idea to line them with heavy duty plastic bags just to be safe. I thought they were pretty easy to put on and off the bike. I don’t love that all the clips that hook to the bike racks are plastic and one did get lost. The bags have ample storage space for my sleeping gear, clothes, food, etc. These aren’t ultralight bags, they have the weight and feel of your typical outdoors dry gear bag. I think these are very reasonably priced compared to ortlieb bags and do the same job!

A Great Budget Bag that Performs Above Its Class
I wanted a set of panniers that not only were waterproof, but that also had a rigid back. The struts on my rear rack don't go down very far and bags with a soft back would come really close to rubbing the tire. This bag has a sturdy shape and rigid back panel and the adjustable clamps are keeping it secure. It holds a lot of gear and is easy to close. Great buy
