This book is packed with good information that is written for those not medically trained to easily follow.

I have depended on the Merck Manual for about 20 years. I replaced my first addition with the second edition because I really depend on this manual. I am a Medical Technologist and and trust the information in the manual. It is straight forward and concise. I recommend it to every household. It covers every field of medical concerns.

I'm a nursing student and with several of our books, it's kinda hard to read and understand. My study group and I have found this book to be very helpful and it puts everything in terms that is very easy to understand. I would advise this book for anyone trying to learn any medical issue, whether you are in college for a medical degree or just needing to know what is going on with yourself due to medical issues.
