No matter the age, these are the best!
I am a high school ELA teacher, and use these in my classroom. Yes. High School! The students absolutely love them. Not all students are the same size, yet all the desks in my room are. With these bands the shorter students can prop their feet up a bit, and even my six footers can use them to bounce their size 16 clompers quietly. I will never teach in a room with out them!

Students like them
Use in my 7th grade classroom. Students like them and find them helpful. I don’t use the sticky tabs with them as I need to remove them if I change classrooms. So, they twist easily and have to be untwisted to resume proper use.

These bands work!
I am a substitute teacher, and I find myself in classrooms that contain children with 504s and IEPs every single day. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students are required to stay at their desks, which is next to impossible for some energetic students, especially those with ADHD. Fellow educators, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about. These chair bands have helped me meet the needs of even the most restless students by giving them an outlet for their wiggles. The human body isn't designed to sit in a chair for seven hours a day, but these bands really help. I have tried a few different brands, and I have found Solace to be the absolute best in terms of resistance, durability, and ease of care. They're not quite perfect, but they have absolutely been worth every penny for me.PRO TIPS FOR THE WISE: Based on experience, I recommend the following two "Wiggle Band Expectations":first, please use them as quietly and respectfully as possible.Second, please use the front or back of your shoes (not the soles) to bounce against the bands.

Very sturdy, need to buy more for the rest of the class!! 2 1/2 yrs & going strong!
I've had these in my 2nd grade class for 2 1/2 years. As you can see in the picture, They get used quite a bit by little feet on a daily basis! This one is turned around and flipped over, which is the purpose of a fidgety-type band. Some kids get very excited and can get very loud with their band, but I just have to remind them that it is a privilege to have one and they can lose it very easily. Then the noise stops right away.I have only had 12, and had been using my 6 wobble chairs to trade with the other regular ones, but I'd like to keep those in 1 place at my work table where they come and sit. So, by purchasing another set, everyone can have a chair band now. I reviewed cheaper ones, and many tear and rip. I decided to go back to these and spend the $ now to invest in what I already know is a solid investment.

For middle school, cons outweigh the pros
Update 10/1/17Company refunded purchase price through Amazon today, solely based on my unsatisfied review. I did not contact them or return the merchandise - just simply was notified about the refund through email by Amazon. This impressed me, as they are standing behind their product and customer guarantee. For that, I increased the stars to 3 - still feel the same about the bands for my age group of students, but want to make sure the company gets credit for treating its customers with integrity. Nice to know there are companies out there like Solace.Bought for middle school classroom to try after we got to test out the Bouncy Bands, which we loved, but can't afford for every desk.Pros - easy to install, and cheap at $3 each.Cons:slip down to the ground if your desk legs don't have a natural stop.Snap on kids' legs if they get overly silly with them.Tend to twang and make noises with same type students, so for a bit until they got used to them, I had extra classroom management to do instead of less to do.Get very dirty right away, looking unappealing. Not super-durable with middle school feet - two out of ten bands already have tears, and I had to remove them.Working on a way for them not to slip down the legs (testing out multiple layers of electrical tape to create a "stop" on the desk legs) and twisted them up so that they only have one surface instead of the two, which helps with the twanging/snapping of legs.Overall, not nearly as satisfactory as the Bouncy Bands which are totally quiet, no issues, don't slip down, and exceptionally more durable, BUT so much more expensive - we don't have the $15 for 32 desks, so making do.Next going to try some heavy duty exercise bands that are black (won't show the dirt) that seem about the same as these kick bands and are about .50 cents a piece cheaper with same modifications. We have even tried using Gatorade bottles as stops so they don't slip to the floor, with a little bit of success (our awesome custodian came up with idea and test pair) but they make their own noise, and well - look not-so-great. I'll update in a month or so to let you know how the modification process is going.
