Kids, Music 'n' Autism: Bringing out the Music in Your Child

I'm the father of a typically developing daughter and an autistic son. I found this book to have valuable information for parenting any child, but I especially appreciated how it related music to sensory processing and development. It offers thoroughly convincing information on why music should be a priority in a child's life, and it details how and when to facilitate that. For any parent interested in their children's development, this is a must read.

This is a great resource for parents of children with ASD. It does a great job of stressing the importance of music as well as finding the right teachers, instruments and therapists.
