My absolute favorite manufacturer of sun hoodies has always been AFTCO, but this lower priced option may take that title ($25 vs $40). Fits GREAT (XL, 5'11" 210#), and weighs only 35 grams more than my AFTCO Samurai Hoodies. However, this shirt includes a built in gaiter, so the weights are essentially equal. Breathes very well, and best of all the hood is cut just like the AFTCO....oversized! It fits perfectly over the brim of a ball cap so it doesn't blow off in the wind. The thumb holes are a welcome addition with the fabric covering my hands to the knuckles. The built in gaiter isn't tight but fits snugly enough to prevent it from slipping and also doesn't restrict my breathing. The pocket on the right side is a welcome bonus and is the perfect size to fit a large phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max) in a Lifeproof case.

Pretty good quality. But I ordered S-size, actually it looks like L-size for me. The sleeves are short a little bit.For those who like clothes to hang freely, as in the photo in the product description, you might like it.It worth the money. It is good.

Light weight and very uv ray proof

This shirt is AMAZING. At least for me it went exactly the size it says (use the table), some brands run smaller (specially oriental ones) but I think this is true to the size it advertises. It's fresh, it doesn't stink as soon as you start sweating like other shirts I own do (it has good ventilation under the armpits) and the buff added is a great touch and awesome when practicing outdoor sports (I like fishing and kayaking)Also the sun protection it has seems to be good, I spent 3 days using it under the sun and I didn't get a sunburn so, it's a 5 stars shirt for me, specially because of the price vs for example a very expensive Columbia. I can't say anything about the wear resistance but time will tell and I'll update this review if something else happens.

Good but some things to be aware of. The material is 100% polyester, thicker and less elastic than found in mix with spandex. The stiching is straight and accurate with durable thick seams. This makes it more durable but also not as soft and light if worn directly without sublayers. Which is why it probably works better as a fishing shirt than a beach type rash guard. As for the beach wear, there are thinner, softer and lighter shirts that I liked better (all spandex added to the mix). Also, the sleeves are normal length but too short for the thumb holes to be really useful in my case.After wearing it for some time I think lighter spf hoodies without gaiter + separate spf gaiter when needed work better than the ones with gaiter attached at all times. The hoodies with attached gaiter will be less breathable when gaiter is not needed.All in all not a deal breaker, but I won't buy another one.

Me gusto mucho. La eh usado por más de 5 horas y verdaderamente si protege de los rayos de sol. Lo unico es la capucha, no trae como afianzarla a tu cabeza y eso ocasiona que el viento te destape y es algo incomodo estar agarrandola y reacomodandola; tal vez porque es para pesca y yo la agarro para senderismo.
