We are very happy with the assembled product, it is well-finished, sturdy and perfectly sized to do the job. It really looks like we had paid twice as much so it is a great value for the money. However be aware that it's not IKEA-simple to assemble. It's still not difficult at all but glue is involved so it takes a little more time to assemble and maybe 24 hours of waiting before you can use it. The results are definitely worth the extra effort and time though!

I was looking for something to put my clothes on when going to bed. This valet is far better than a chair because you can put more stuff on it and have easy access to what's on it.

Everyone has The Chair, right? The one where things you've worn that are too clean for the laundry but too worn for the closet? Enter the clothing valet. It's really genius. This one is the least expensive I could find, and not really worth the money I spent in terms of materials (the posts are metal tubes, not wood, and it's only moderately sturdy), but it takes up just the right amount of room and is really useful.

It took me a little more time than expected to build it solidly (and I let the glue settle overnight) but overall I’m very happy with the quality and finish. Note that all the vertical tubes are actually made out of metal while the rest of the parts are made out of wood. Thinking of buying a second one for the other side of the bed... Update: I bought the initial one in 2018. So good and well made that I bought a second one in 2024.

This was very straightforward to assemble. Simple design but practical - multiple bars for hanging things on and the base holds shoes. Bought this for hubby who likes to toss clothes and put them away "later." This keeps them off the floor at least! By far among the least expensive clothing butler I could find without compromising quality or value.
