Schneider« Express 225 Blue Medium Ballpoint Ink Refills-2/pk

Have tried the high street for a suitable refill a few times since the Papermate originals were (apparently) discontinued some years ago. I found one that was just about right in the well known stationers but it was a smidge long so the nib stuck out when I clicked the pen off and they only had black, whereas I was after blue. The pen is old and the case slightly discoloured but it has sentimental value for me so am delighted to find these on Amazon. In case it helps someone else (as I wasn’t sure this would be a good fit in my particular pen), I attach a photo of the pen in question.Decent price and the ink flows nicely, no fading in and out so far!

Good fit for my old Papermate pen.

These refills work fine for my 1980s Papermate ball pen. The only problem is they're ever so slightly too thick so they don't close properly without physically pushing the end into the barrel. Other than that, all good and can use my old pen which looks and is, very stylish. The original is on the left in the oicture
