I can't believe how well this stuff works! It got rid of a large years-old callus in weeks.
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I have a slightly crooked gait due to a badly broken right leg years ago. Over time it resulted in the development of a substantial callus on the outside edge of my right heel. The callus was about two inches long and close to a half inch wide, and had been there for several years. I hated it, and tried to treat in other ways without any success. So when I learned about the uses of urea and saw this product I bought it and applied it to the callus off and on for perhaps a total of ten times over a period of about six weeks. I wore "Moisturizing Gel Heel Sleeves" on the heel that I also bought here on Amazon, putting the sleves on after each application of the cream, and left them on a full day after each application, to keep the cream in contact with the callus. After a couple weeks dead skin began coming off the callus, so it was clear then that something was happening. I scrubbed at it a couple times in the shower. Now, after these six weeks of treatments, I am amazed and incredibly happy to report that that the callus is virtually gone!!! My heel is smooth and normal again. And I haven't even used half of the jar. I find it hard to believe, but it's true.According to Wikipedia on the medical uses of urea including getting rid of calluses: "Urea dissolves the intercellular matrix of the cells of the stratum corneum, promoting desquamation of scaly skin, eventually resulting in softening of hyperkeratotic areas."I've seen a couple negative reviews from people who bought this product claiming it was not a good moisturizer. It is not in fact, and such criticisms are unfair. This is a product with a function way beyond moisturizing, due to the urea content. If you want a moisturizer, buy a moisturizer, not this. Also, I thought that perhaps I should have bought the 40 percent urea content cream, but the 20 percent worked just fine.

I Thought I Was Too Old To Have Healthy Feet Again
I am 71 years old, and my feet were getting pretty bad. The skin was dry and peeling and rough and itchy, and I'd get these irritating blisters. I used moisturizing creams and they worked, until I took a shower and then it all came back. I thought it was just a part of getting old. But then my wife told me to see a dermatologist. I'm glad I did! He said I had athlete's foot and put me on a regimen of anti-fungal lotions and powder. When that started to work, he recommended 20% urea cream for the roughness. That's how I got PurSources Urea 20% Healing Cream. I no longer have those rough patches, and my skin is soft and moist like it was 20 years ago! Even after I shower! The cream is also smoothing and softening some thick calluses on my feet. I can't definitively say which good effects are attributable to the anti-fungals and which to PurSources, but there was definite improvement with the scaly patches and calluses after I started with PurSources cream.

Excellent product
My husband and I both use this on our feet before we go to bed. I think it leaves a slight 'chalky' feeling on my feet. My husband doesn't. He uses less than I do. The moisturizer works well, your feet stay moist the entire next day. It's definitely healing cracks, dry peeling skin and appears to be gradually (and gently) getting rid of the calluses. I wouldn't want to use a higher percentage cream.

Smells Awful
This smells somewhat like mold and menthol. Perhaps the "menthol" is actually the tea tree oil, but whatever it is, it's unpleasant. I've had several others smell the jar and all agree, it's an unhealthy smell. So, as far as skincare goes, I don't know; I couldn't keep it on long enough to tell. Disappointed.
