EARTHGUARD Single Tire Liner, Size 29/27.5 x 1.5-2.3, Black

I really want to like this, but its only so-so - the material is a very slick film-like plastic roll that I feel will move around and either cause a friction flat or not stay where its supposed to and let you get a puncture. I can't prove this because there is no way to see inside the tire, but only time will tell if this is indeed a good solution for punctures. I will give it this - it was easy to install, I took the wheel off of my Rock Hopper, took the tire off the rim, inserted the liner against the inside of the tire, placed the slightly inflated tube in the tire to keep it in place and then mounted the rim. Went on with no issues - I could have tried to tuck it in the tire with the rim mounted, but I thought that its too tight. I've ridden around and haven't noticed any significant performance issues. My enemy here in So Cal are the goat head stickers, if this thing even defeats one, I will change this to a 5 star and sing praises from the mountain tops!
