Performance, reliability, convenience. Excellent product!
I am very pleased with this battery. I have had it for 6 months and it is great. Very reliable, zero maintenance. I have it hooked up to a 300w solar system on my camper van/RV and it charges very fast. I even hooked it up to a 450/900 watt space heater and ran it for 1.5hr on the lower 450 watt setting via a 600w (1200w surge) inverter. It raised the temperate of the RV interior from 55F to 67F in 1 hour (outside temp was 52F with @ 50% humidity in the evening). This was just a test I ran to see what it was capable of. While it did discharge the battery, it performed flawlessly during that time and helped me to learn about how the battery reacts to large loads. The next day I checked on the battery @ noon and it was at full charge from the morning sun. The battery also performed perfectly on a 3k mile, 1 week road trip. It powered the inverter, which fed to 6 LED ceiling lights, a water pump, USB outlets keeping two cell phones, two laptops, one SLR camera, one Dometic fridge running 24/7 without any drop in temperature. Food was always cold. Cold beer in the middle of the desert anytime you wanted. I plan on adding to my solar bank soon with another Battle Born battery and a more powerful inverter so I can run a 1200w water heater and improve the space heater's performance (only as backup in case of extreme cold). I have not contacted customer support yet for any reason but based on other reviews I am confident that area is just as good as the battery itself. I highly recommend this product. Update (2020): My Battle Born battery was experiencing some minor issue one year in. I would lose power for 2-3 seconds once a day or every couple days. The power would turn off and come right back on again. I contacted Battle Born and they said it was caused by the BMS (battery management system) in batches produced around the time I purchased my battery. I shipped the battery back to them (they paid for shipping) and they sent me a new replacement battery which has been working perfectly for 2 years now. Their customer support is top notch as is their warranty. I will not be buying any other battery except Battle Born as my experience with this battery and the company has been excellent.

Buy it with confidence
I purchased two of these to replace the lead acid coach batteries in a Coachman CrossFit 22D RV. I put them in as direct replacements with no other modifications to the RV. I then reset the solar charger to Lithium. After 6 months I relocated the batteries form outside the coach to inside under the passenger side sofa. they fit perfectly just in front of the water tank and pump. It has been working flawlessly for over a year. My two lead acid batteries, even though brand new, would run the fridge (yes, it’s a DC electric fridge) and a few lights for about 8 hours before being discharged and disconnecting. These batteries last 28 hours and had an unexpected benefit of making the RV ride a little better as they weigh significantly less than the ones they replaced. They are expensive. But, search for the teardown video on YouTube and you will quickly see what you are paying for. These batteries are worth the cost. Battle Born is a US company in Nevada, and I called them. The tech spent quite while on the phone explaining the built in battery monitor. Yes, the individual cells are Chinese made. But they are very high quality Chinses made, and that does make a difference. I am going to buy two more and double my off the grid battery life. Buy this battery with confidence for your solar applications, for you RV, etc. Do not buy it as a starting battery as it is not well suited for that.

Poor value for money. The warranty process is slow and expensive, and they arbitrarily deny claims.
Way overpriced in 2025. 10 year warranty is a pain. I bought 14 of these batteries in 2020, using them in a 7P2S (24V) configuration. One of the batteries recently died. They first advised me how to "wake up" the battery - a perfectly reasonable thing to do. The battery remained dead. Getting a warranty RMA going is OK, but their slow response to emails (two weeks after the RMA I finally got a response with detailed instructions to start the process. These instructions sound imperious and insulting (terms like "not negotiable"). Then, if you don't have the original packaging (I bought these 5 years ago, so I don't have it), their "process" requires 1) sending me an "approved" set of packaging (1 week gone), then I return the battery to them (another week), then 3) allow up to 2-3 weeks for evaluation/repair/replacement, and maybe another week for shipping. Possibly up to 8 weeks to get a replacement, and they charge $349 for postage, which may be eventually reimbursed. If they don't approve the warranty repair, they charge $150/hr for repairs, and you don't get reimbursed for postage. It would be a lot faster and possibly cheaper just to buy another brand at $300 a pop (I bought two and got them installed in three days when I saw how slow things were moving), considering most users actually need their batteries! At this price, I would just expect them to send me a replacement, and I would be willing to send the broken battery back to them. For the expense, you don't get kid-glove treatment, that's for sure. Update: they claim the battery failure was due to "misuse" - wrong cables (4 gauge can carry 70 Amps - much more than the 30 Amps actually needed), unmatched cable lengths (mine are matched within an inch - what do they want - a millimeter? They now want me to pay for the repair too - another $150 - so that would be $545 in all for a repair on a 5 year old battery. I am not happy.
