I found it difficult to set the security code. (But that's not unusual)!! It's OK. BUT would not use for VERY VALUABLE items. Works for bits n' bobs only.

Very nice for what it is and the cost. Very passable as a book on a shelf with other books. Metal lockbox inside obviously won’t keep anyone who’s really trying to get in out but definitely a good hiding spot with added protection should a kid or something find it by mistake

I think it's a fine lockbox for the money. Reading another review that takes exception with the fake-y looking pages, sure it might not pass muster if you're looking at it from two inches away and removing each book from a bookshelf to see if which one's actually a safe instead of a book, but that is a ridiculous standard to go by. It blends in just fine, the latch is secure, the combination lock turns smoothly and is easily settable. I'm a happy customer. I'm not going to use this to conceal the Kruger Diamond, but for articles I'd rather not leave out in plain sight or in a dresser drawer, this fits the bill nicely.
