Works well
I have made a fsl items with this using a single layer hooped tightly. It hasn't distorted or pulled the design out of alignment, but for heavy designs two layers might be better. It dissolves fairly quickly, and a bit more washing to get the extra starch out if you don't want stiff lace. This roll has lasted me quite awhile. I would buy this again.

Perfect dissolving stabilizer
I have been looking for this product for years. It is the perfect stabilizer for cut work, and pretty much anything you want temporary stability for. It is firm, like a non-woven stabilizer. It is not sticky at all, and moves smoothly with the fabric. It dissolves completely and easily, not like the thick film dissolvable. That means you can bravely use a layer on top and below without fear that it will become gummy. I am so happy I finally found it. Plus, it is a great price for a thick roll that will last through many projects.Tips: This stabilizer dissolves under cold water in about 6 seconds. It is very important to keep it dry. It will do okay for a few days laying out in a humid room, but don't push it. Keep it in a sealed plastic bag to protect your precious stabilizer.

Product works well after getting used to opaque
I have often used the clear-ish version by a competitor, and love the results. I saw the price for this, and decided I wanted to compare the products. First, it does exactly what it says it does...you just cannot see the placement of threads/yarns/ etc underneath, as it is opaque. Once I accepted that and used the product, it works well. It requires a bit more wash out, perhaps, than the clear one, but that was fine. I ended up purchasing the clear one from this company as well, they have Great prices! Have not used it yet, however if it is as good as this one, I am sure I will be pleased with it. BTW, it does NOT have adhesive on the back, it is a washaway stabilizer that you sew then rinse to remove. Given the glue like factor as it rinses, I think one could easily use it to stiffen or even lightly support temporarily at least, the fabric, brushing it on as a liquid glue/ starch much like the clear one. What I do not know is if it would dry white...the clear one obviously dries clear. Worth trying for those occasional times you need a stiffener.

Works very well with freestanding lace.
Works very well with freestanding lace. I have tried several different brands and I have not found a better brand. In the overall cost of embroidery a dollar or two difference in cost of stabilizer is insignificant. The stabilizer ranks in the top two of the many I have used.High stitch density requires two layers the stabilizer, and most of the time I use leftover pieces placed underneath the hoop.If I had a wish list, a 50 yard or 100 yard roll of the stabilizer would be on it!

Super-strong, quick dissolving and less expensive than Sulky
This is a great product, much better than Super Sulky Soluble. It's so much easier to hoop, tears much less frequently, and dissolves more readily. I've been using it to create doilies for patching a really old quilt -- once soaked the doilies are super flexible and much softer than the ones where I used the Sulky product. It's easy to base pieces together with my sewing machine and hoop those -- I'd never try that with Sulky.

Love it!
I bought this right after I bought my embroidery machine and used it for my first project. I love how easy it is to use and it washes away easily. This is my go to stabilizer and I will be ordering more soon as I am almost out. I keep finding projects to use it on. And with Christmas coming......Tips: If you want it to wash away faster, use warmer water. If you wash away too much, just dissolve some of the scrap stabilizer and dip your project in the solution again. Don't dry on paper towels or kitchen towels. It will stick to the project and leave small pieces when you try to take it off. I dry my projects on a cookie sheet on the counter and turn them over while they are drying.I did some research and found out it is safe for septic systems, which was one of my concerns.Very happy I got this and I will be buying more soon.

This is great value for your money. I love this stabilizer.
Definitely recommend this stabilizer. I've been using it to make Free Standing Lace (FSL) ornaments. This stabilizer goes a long way. I've purchased multiple times because I'm making the ornaments for Christmas markets. This stabilizer truly does an amazing job and is washaway. Highly Recommended if you are making embroidery items for markets.
