Bought this for my Sister so she would at least have SOMETHING in her purse for emergencies...I was a little apprehensive giving it to her as part of her birthday gift because I didn't know how she would react but to my surprise she loved it! She told me she needed a good pen and she was actually looking at these "Tactical" pens from time to time. she likes the thought of it being able to break glass in an emergency and the fact that it can be used in an emergency as a self defense weapon. lol I was gonna buy her a good pocket knife like I bought my brothers but she probably WOULD have broke my stones over that if i did.. lol The pen is nice, its heavy, seems well made and writes great. I have two of a different brand and like this one more. I would buy it again as a gift for others and if you dont carry a concealed gun or a good knife (I like my Old Timer 60TW or My Buck 112 as my EDC knife) then this pen is a good alternative.

The first day of using the pen. The overall look of the pen is great!!! Has great weight and balance. As for the clip, it is very under par. It came loose the first time I put it in my pocket. The first pen cartridge lasted about 15 words while I was in a corporate safety audit. I am on the second cartridge now. I hope it lasts longer than the first one. I am going to request new cartridges form the seller

This pen here offers a quality that's second to none, the build of it is great as well the cap side giving you a nice flat surface and the bottom a point and yes it will make a point if necessary. I like how the point is not extreme so to not "permanently damage" a individual but can still make them submit. You can still use this as a writing pen as well it comes with a second ink refill cartage.

Threads failed after light office use. This pen was used only for writing in the office. It was used lightly (less than 10 times). The body of the pen that holds the cartridge inside will no longer screw together. I never tried to change the cartridge. It just came apart while writing in a meeting.

Here's what I like about this tactical pen: it has a cap and the glass break end isn't so sharp that it will ruin your clothes. Realistically, if I'm walking around all day with this thing I can't have ink leaking out, so the cap is a huge plus. Ditto for an overly sharp glass break - the thing can't ruin my clothes overwise it's not going to be fulfilling its purpose - being nearby at all times.I'm taking off a star because the pen cap says, "Senior Tactical" in silver letters. While the letting is small, it's contrasting and I don't really want to advertise what I'm carrying because tactical pens are supposed to be inconspicuous in my mind.Overall though, for functionality, this is a hit.

Actually looks good and now in the truck. 4 stars due to the fact that I have not tried to break a window with it and truly hope that that never happens. But well packaged and the unit appears fine.

Pin writes nice and smooth. Really like the cap, instead of clicking. Gave only 4 stars because the cap will not stay in place on back of pin.

Excellent tool for the price. I like the fact that the spring clip is held on by screws. I lost my last tactical pen when the top (which screwed to the bottom) unscrewed and fell off, leaving the pen in my pocket, but virtually useless as it could no longer be clipped to gear or pocket. Dirt cheap and good quality.
