I bought the larger tank for my large red eared slider as temporary housing. It’s so easy to set up and use. It’s also really easy to clean. This would be perfect for small turtles. The plastic siding isn’t too sturdy so a shored it up with duct tape. My turtle is an escape artist, so far it’s kept her in.

The tank is easy to clean and ok for a small turtle, But I wish I could return it. There is nowhere to purchase a filter cartridge replacement. They advertise a product number, but it does not exist. If anyone else has been able to find one,let me know and I will revise this review. Until then I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

We found a painted turtle and decided to keep it. He was a couple weeks old, we're guessing. This will be his home until he is fully grown, and then he will enjoy the out of doors during good weather. In a baby pool.My only complaint is that the opening needs to be checked after each cleaning to ensure it is properly closed and it doesn't leak. I feel like it could be a more secure design. I know this sounds like a big deal, but once you get the hang of it, all is well and good. ( I use a needle nose pliers to twist it on and off and I also have a perfect spot for it in my house. In my laundry room next to a utility sink. I did keep it in my bedroom and used a bucket to empty the water into.The other thing I was dissatisfied with was for some reason I thought it had wheels and a handle, like you would with a wagon, and you could pull it to different locations. This is not the case.I called a game changer because I decided I didn't want to mess with emptying or cleaning an actual fish tank as I already have one of those.

my turtles are so happy in this tank! they love it! have had this for a long time and it is still working perfectly!

It's used for my pet turtle and my only dislike is that it doesn't have a water heater included, or a top for the tank, and because that, the water constantly evaporates, or than those things I like it!!!

Perfect tank for my painter turtle. I will need to get a larger one in the future, but it’s OK for how young he is. The filter works great keeps the tank clean. The tank is also durable for toddlers to be around. Super easy to clean as there is a drain that you can unplug to empty the dirty water.
