I read the 1* reviews first and most said not enough bounce, etc. And indeed when I installed mine it was no way near as firm as the pad it replaced. The problem was that I hadn't noticed that the spring holes in the frame had worn and had become a little elongated and the fact that I was using the original springs didn't help either. I got around this by fitting pairs of springs in a 'V' formation into every second hole on the frame. That made a big difference and my kids say it's as good as the old pad. It's a shame I had to replace the old pad as the only thing wrong with it was that all steel triangular rings had rusted through (be so much better if they made them from stainless steel).

As there are so many different trampoline sizes and configurations and having read other reviews saying that the Mat did not fit - there was the concern on ordering that it would not work for our trampoline. I need not have worried - I believe as long as you measure the trampoline FRAME for the size and count the rings accurately (do it at least twice so you are convinced :-) ) - then this should fit. The Mat itself is just as good if not better than the original and is just as taut and bouncy - the trampoline is like new. Product was delivered very quickly and my daughter is very happy after bouncing through the old mat.

My daughter's original mat, which had lasted about 6 years had a tear in it and was becoming a liability, so a replacement was ordered and was straight forward to install, with a bit of instruction. I made a tool with a 2 bits of wood and a long shank screw (you can almost certainly buy a tool for the job aswell), to make attaching each spring to the mat easier and the whole job was done inside an hour. If you need any advice fitting have a look on youtube there are a couple of useful shorts on making the tool and fitting.

Excellent replacement for a skin that the "D" ring webbing had failed on in multiple locations (the trampoline was at least 6 years old and is left assembled and uncovered all year). Skin fitted perfectly and the tester (11 year old daughter) reported it was "stiffer" than the old one i.e. was not stretched and so gave a very good bounce. Fitting was dead easy albeit with a hastily made DIY spring puller without which I would never have pulled the last springs in so if you don't have a spring puller I would advise buying one at the same time as the skin (the instructions recommend using one and I don't think you would manage without it or would risk injury). The delivery was excellent on the standard free delivery, it came on the second day after ordering and although I have prime it was not prime eligible. Great price. Kept daughters happy towards the end of the summer holidays.

Kids broke the old trampoline mat Sunday 2.30pm. New replacement mat ordered five minutes later having counted and measured the springs, and the new one arrived Monday afternoon at 1pm. It as fitted before the kids got back from School. Gig gold star for Mum & Dad!!Seems as good quality as the original and fitted perfectly.Recommended.
