This canteen kit is ruggedly well-designed & of superb quality. Contrary to what you may have read/heard online, the canteen & cup will easily fit in U.S.G.I. (A.L.I.C.E.-type) canteen pouches. However, there'll be insufficient remaining space for the cup's lid. The pouch that comes with this kit is well-made & has a great fit, though I wouldn't rate it at G.I. level. It would certainly be a convenient carry method in a civilian setting. Yes, it's expensive, but hey -- it's titanium, & it is among the very best of canteen kits, a lightweight, low-maintenance product that will easily serve for many years.
