Very nice addition to our ornate ceiling fan.
This is a very nice item. I used it on a ceiling fan where I had to remove can lights and use a ceiling fan brace. I mounted a ceiling fan box on a ceiling fan box as an extender to bring the box lip just below the face of the medalion (cut the box height down to accomplish this with a grinder) and mounted a plate over the medallion face so that when I screwed the plate down to the box it also pulled the medallion up against the ceiling (I didn't have to glue it or screw the medallion on just the pressure of the plate pushing up). Then I mounted the ceiling fan bracket and the ceiling fan. Used two of these. Very nice product. I was expecting this item to be more of a light foam type item, but it was firmer / harder than I thought it would be.
