Lloyd 1.0 Ton 3 Star Split AC (GLS12B3XWBEP, 100% Copper, White with Blue Deco Strip)

Well it's been quite a few days. Here is my initial review.Lloyd AC 1 Ton 3 Star Non-InverterDesign (4/5) :The design is decent looks good enough. the design on the upper half of indoor unit is just like a paper pasted over plastic. The outdoor unit looks pretty goodBuild Quality (1.5/5) :The indoor unit is made of very cheap plastic. Opening it makes a creaking noise. Need to be careful while cleaning filters.Looks like all the money was spent to make outdoor unit better.Cooling (4/5) :It takes about half a minute to start. But the cooling is pretty fast once it starts. The room feels chilled even if i keep it at 25°C. No problems until now.Noise (5/5) :Barely any noise comes out of this . Very Silent indoor unit. Even the outdoor unit doesn't make much sound. Even at night it's barely noticeable.Installation (4/5) :The Installation for me took around 3.5 hrs but it was done well. Overall no problems with installation. Depends on your technician.Indoor Unit (3/5):It doesn't look much but once u touch it, you'll feel the super low quality plastic used. Clearly cost cutting is done here. It comes with a Basic Dust Filter as advertised and Blue fin coating. Need to handle with care.The display on the AC is very blurry (just for showing numbers other things as mode and stuff looks super blurry).One con here is that horizontal Swing is manual but has a button on the remote that doesn't work (🤷🏻‍♂️???)Remote (5/5) :Remove the lloyd Branding for the remote to work properly.Remote is very good. Easy to use and has good functionality.It is backlit so no problem at night and range is good too.Outdoor Unit (4/5):Made from Metal, looks sturdy and barely makes any noise compared to other brands,One Con is that there is nothing to cover that blue fin coating which is very weird. As you can see in the pic it's just open from the back. Pretty Weird.Overall (4/5):For the price it is available i think it's good enough. Lloyd is a well known brand and i hope the product lives upto the brand promise.(Review after 4 months of use : will be updated later)Update after 4 months: The outdoor unit have started making a very low noise, only heard at night in complete silence. Everything else works fine.The Basic Dust Filter is pathetic the dust goes inside the suction thing. Needs to be cleaned atleast twice a season

Delivery is on time. But don't take installation appointment from Amazon.They don't follow time, and contact no.also off. Better you contact service center, you'll get installation service in reasonable price, Amazon charges are 1600+749(stand)+450(pipe), total 2799, service center charge= 2200

This product was damaged.. item came without plug. And the service person leave the wire without proper connection. Installation quality was worst.

Its been 72 hrs now after purchasing this far neither Amazon nor lyod bothered to call me for installationI hope before the end of summer they will turn up for installation

Forced to write a negative review, barely a week since I brought this one.The person who came to install the airconditioner said that the 'swing needs to be managed manually' like someone has to adjust the fins if we need to keep the swing on. I found it funny but at that time, I gave the AC the benefit of doubt assuming that he doesn't have too much knowledge about the product.However, in 2 days the airconditioner started 'leaking' a lot of water and we had to call the technician. To our surprise he said the same thing. We used a videocon aircondioner for 10 years beofre that and just like all the airconditioner, it did have a 'swing' button on the remote which did its job. But this product (offered at a deep discound) despite having the 'swing' button apparently demands a person stading near the AC to manually swing all night. WOW!

The compressor starts only after 3 min after switching on the AC. Also the installation was not done properly.Also the display is not clear. Highly not recommended

I was skeptical on buying Lyod Ac but went for it considering Havells reputation. The AC was delivered in 2 days and installation person came next day for setup. Installation was done okay but upon turning on the system, outdoor unit was found to be very noisy. Installation person tried fixing and insisting it is normal sound but I knew outdoor was faulty. Escalated to Area ASM and he agreed on outdoor unit replacement directly from company. I didn't have to raise replacement on Amazon. It took one week time but outdoor unit was replaced with a new one and installed. Now the new unit works silently as expected.Overall, happy with AC, it is silent, looks good, remote is very decent with backlit facility. Indoor is decent enough to look. Outdoor is compact and very silent.I would recommend this AC.

My worst experience on buying an ac from Amazon. I was told discount of 3k for my SBI card. Later on Amazon cheated on me by not giving me the same as well as canclled my product. Next time when I order , I had to pay 10k extra for the same product due to price surge.To be the cheery on the cake. The product i received was defective. There was so much time waste from my end to get things inline (installation,product replacement etc) and I am still struggling to get a good product.PS. If u face any difficulty, loyds PPL will say connect with Amazon coz you have purchased from them, and Amazon will say connect with loyds.Best? Go TO CROMA!! This is not even 1 star product
