loved it!
Couldn’t put this book down! It was exactly what I needed to read after a break up! Sooo funny, down to earth and written exactly as me and my pals would speak… so relatable! I’d highly recommend it!

great read that makes you smile with each page
Great follow-up to “A Glasgow Kiss” … totally relatable, funny and touching throughout. Builds Zara’s character up to show her strong, loyal character as well as the level of vulnerability she feels.

Hilarious like always! But lacked a story line.
As always Zara Smith makes me belly laugh! Her Scottish patter and humour always wins us round! However, I felt this book didn’t have a real story line to it like the last book! It’s not what I was expecting after the phenomenon of ‘A Glasgow Kiss’! None the less, I’m excited it’s been left at a cliffhanger, roll on the next book!

The best book you’ll read this year
It was THAT good that I read for 8 hours continuously to get it finished, couldn’t put it down. (After seriously trying to keep it for my holiday in a few weeks!)Sophie immaculately depicts and brings to life every single guy that us Glasgow girls have encountered during our single Tinder years and absolutely nails every one of them. The bad boy with a dangerous personality that you NEED to sleep with because why wouldn’t you, the too good to be true guy who comes in to your life when you least expect it but your gut tells you it’s not real, the ex that you have so much chemistry with that you’ll never just be friends and you’ll always hold some love for, and that guy that you’ve known for a while and fancied but never had the confidence to say it.Through A Glasgow Kiss and What Happens in Dubai, I’ve been completely teleported back to my serial Tinder dates of 2016 and laughed my way through the familiarity of Sophie’s words and situations.Any girls out there in their mid 20s to 30s will relate to every single one of Sophie’s beautifully and accurately written words and most importantly will finish both of her books feeling less alone and reassured that ITS NOT JUST YOU 💖

CLASS! Brilliant!
Oh. My. Lordy! This book, it was absolutely fantastic. I adored A Glasgow Kiss so it was an auto-buy for me when I found out @sophie.gravia_author was bringing out this book.As someone who has lived in Dubai when I was younger, I knew I had to read and find out Sophie’s take on Dubai, how she saw it through Zara and it’s just how I remember!I couldn’t wait to read more of Zara’s life and find out how her relationship side of life was getting on… well, she’s still sleeping with all the men who fall at her feet but there’s been a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and I was laughing my head off.I couldn’t contain my laughter at points… I have to say, Sophie, Henri was a favourite of mine but I’ll never look at a baguette in the same way 😂Absolutely brilliant book, sexy, fascinating and funny! Sophie, you’ve written another hilarious and brilliant book! I’ve already recommended it on to friends!
