Okay, I was really skeptical of this blanket because it's a bit of a misnomer. It's called a cooling blanket, but it doesn't actually cool. More specifically, it's designed to keep you from getting overheated. But it's a good enough price I tried it. I turned off my AC, but left the fan on and slept soundly through an 86 degree night. But the REAL test was when I let my brother try it. He doesn't have AC and runs way hotter than me. He also got his first sound sleep this summer. Some things to note about this blanket. 1. It does NOT cool you. It keeps you from getting overheated. You will still recognize the heat, but your body should stay at body temperature unless the air around you is warmer than body temperature. 2. It works best if you also have a fan blowing to keep some air moving. 3. There were still some really hot nights I needed to turn the AC back on. I think this was because of humidity, but I'm not sure since I don't live in a very humid place. I 100% recommend this blanket. It saves me electricity costs and makes the summer more manageable. I'm still unsure of the science of how this works, but it does. Now that we're in the cooler months, the blanket is obviously cool to the touch because it just doesn't trap heat. At the very least, if you're like me and NEED a blanket (or a sheet) even when it's super hot outside, this is the one to use. It's also just a good blanket. It's well designed, comfortable to wear around the house, and 100% machine washable. Some people have reported the seams starting to come undone in the wash, but I haven't noticed yet.

Bought this last year for my five year old daughter to help keep her cool on a summer vacation trip, and had to come write a review bc she raves about it all the time even a year later. She absolutely loves it, and uses it most nights except in the winter. Her body temp runs on the warm side, and she can’t sleep if she’s too warm. This blanket makes a huge difference in helping her fall asleep most nights. It’s lightweight and really does keep her cool. The fabric eventually heats up from body heat, but we just “fluff” (shake) the blanket a few times and it cools right back down. It’s also very easy to wash, and the size is perfect for my five year old. She also loves that it is light blue with snowflakes, and calls it her Elsa blanket because of the color, the design, and it keeps her cold.

My dog said it’s a 1-star blanket. She HATES it! Her nightly routine is to wiggle her skinny little butt under my blanket and make me move until she’s perfectly aligned along my body. She gets nice and toasty under there, which I just don’t appreciate the way she thinks I should. Straight out of the package, there was no interesting smell for her to enjoy. Great for me but she just turned away. That night, I tossed the sheet over her and I pulled the blanket over me. I’d bought the throw size, which she thought was rude. She wiggled under and claimed her spot. For the first time, I didn’t overheat! She was NOT happy! No matter what position she tried, she just couldn’t get toasty! Soon, she was nestled between my pillows and giving me the side eye. I’ve used it for a week now. She’s tried calling and reporting me for abuse, but luckily being cool is not illegal. I LOVE THIS BLANKET! If you’re a hot sleeper, GET THIS NOW! It was cool to the touch straight out of the very hot packaging. It’s lightweight and super soft. And it’s perfect for a hot sleeper! Your staffie will hate it, but you won’t regret it! PS: I gave the dog her own warm snuggly blanket so she is not suffering.

This blanket is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to move around and carry with me. Despite its size being on the smaller side, it still provides ample coverage and keeps me cool throughout the night. In terms of portability, this blanket folds up compactly and can easily fit into a travel bag or backpack. I'm janky and sometimes think I'm ~seeew smort~ so when these got trendy I did some research, learned that nylon is the best material for cooling, and decided I'd just buy that from a fabric store. After shopping EXTENSIVELY I concluded this is a much better value. I did the work so you don't have to! Unless you happen to have access to large pieces of fabric for cheaper than this, the value for this product is good. As for temperature regulation, this IS JUST a piece of fabric. It won't take you from 103°F to 72°F in 60 seconds FLAT. It's not an ice pack. However, I don't have AC and have been in situations this summer where it has been over 100°F and the humidity is in the 70s +. In those situations I'd have an ice pack/wet towel on the back of my neck and a fan blowing directly at me. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to sleep like that for some people (like me) who might feel ~weird and exposed~ without a sheet over some portion of their body. If you are that way, this blanket is a great option. It is much cooler than using just a flat top sheet. It's also nice on less sweltering nights (ones without the icepack), it is a good summer throw blanket on the couch, and I've even used it underneath the duvet (cos I'm wild and daring). I found that it did a great job of keeping me comfortable without feeling exposed OR stuffy. There wasn't really any smell I can recall? I get migraines and they're frequently triggered by off gassing and VOCs. Plastics, scented candles, perfumes. Any of that. This blanket has never given me issues. The only "complaint" I have about this blanket is... it's aesthetically unappealing. It has a Snowflake pattern on one side which is frankly, funny to me. The color doesn't fit into my decor (which, who cares but it is worth mentioning). I guess maybe next summer they'll have these in like, every color and you can custom order one with a picture of your dad holding a fish that says "coolest dad ever!!" Overall, this nylon cooling blanket gets 4 out of FIVE SNAILS from me for its weight, size, portability, value, temperature control, and lack of scent.

Decepcionante. Quando se embrulha é possível sentir um resfriamento, mas depois de poucos minutos, passa este efeito, ficando a mesmo sensação de um lençol comum. O cobertor não consegue manter o resfriamento como anunciado. Não indico.
