Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom Powder (4:1 Extract), 5.5 Ounces

As a woman experiencing perimenopause symptoms (lucky me haha), I have to say that this product mixed into my coffee each morning has been very effective at helping my brain fog! I use it for a few weeks at a time then take a week or so off from it so that my system doesn't get too used to it. Great quality product and great value, recommend trying it!

I found this product to be clean, uniform and have a pleasant flavor. The container reseals well. As to any mental acuity improvements, it's tough to find a frog in seaweed.

Ok. So first thing, the product arrived earlier than expected, so good quick shipping. Secondly, I wrote the company with several questions, they were extremely quick to reply, and their answers, were exactly what I was hoping to hear!! So, according to them, beta glucan content is 30 percent, which is quite good! Also, the product is, the mushrooms are extracted with water, which is what you want....furthermore, the original mushroom material is also kept in the final product!!- ensuring that you get all beneficial compounds, similar to a double extraction, but without the need to actually double extract with alcohol. So, this is absolutely what a lions mane extract should be. The only possible way I could see them making it even better, would be to also include a mycelium extraction in the product, as then we would get ALL the beneficial interesting compounds, however, its quite difficult to actually find a product like that...and if you did im sure it would cost a pretty penny....the price on this stuff is great compared to most others available and you get more weight as well. I like the way it tastes...like mushrooms, but not obnoxiously so, and blends right into a cup of coffee or makes a lovely broth just in hot water. After trying a third teaspoon, I most definitely felt a strong natural stimulation, similar in some ways to cordyceps extracts. It's only my second day trying it, but thus far, all seems to be on the up and up and I do indeed recommend giving them a try!!

Seems like the product itself is high quality, but the packaging this company chose is unfortunate. The package arrived powdery on the outside, as if maybe a different package leaked onto all the others, and the outside of the bag was a little sticky in places. Even worse, the resealable zip top is almost impossible to use. It takes many tries to get it to seal, and then (too) easily pops open again. I think I will have to transfer my product to a glass jar or something else that can seal.

This is my go to mushroom powder that I buy whenever I make my own coffee concoction blend. I use about 10-13 different ingredients and put a scoop in a fine tea diffuser in the coffee pot. Then I use about half the normal amount of regular coffee in the filter basket. My coffee is always delicious.

I literally could not beleive how much this helped me with focus and mental clarity! It helped pull me out of a deep depression ( along with a couple other supplements) that i was battling for 2 years, which caused me to constantly lose my train of thought, I had trouble concentrating/ focusing/ processing thoughts etc. But this stuff..it almost immediately lifted this giant brain fog with one dose! I took about a tablespoon mixed into my coffee and wow, before I knew it, (hour or so later) I felt more grounded, focused, mentally stable, and the dissociation/disconnect that i was feeling due to the severity of depression, actually began to subdue! Within a few days of taking lions mane and a couple other mushrooms, Its like i was born again! I felt new- I was able to recover mentally, focus on getting treatment finally. I began to enjoy my baby even more, and returned to work very shortly after, where my critical thinking skills were crucial!I put a tablespoon into my cup of coffee before any day at work where I need to really focus and think, which is pretty much daily haha. This stuff really works!!! I tell everyone about it. Doesn't make me feel sick or weird in any way at all. It's pretty amazing how much more I can get done after dosing with this! Collect your thoughts, reel in your focus, and be more productive! Highly recommend everyone tries this!

I have been taking this for 3 months now, and I don't go a day without it. The effect it has had on my mood is profound (when compared to other products/medications I have taken). And guess what? I haven't had an anxiety attack for 3 months. Lions mane improves my mood, helps my focus, and really creates this nice calm feeling - not sedative.This is seriously a very high quality product. My favorite thing about this, is that the powder is so fine, that is completely dissolves in water without any sinking to the bottom. This is great because 1. who likes that gross sediment at the bottom, and 2. bioavailability (absorption).*Sidenote: I encourage my fellow natural-medicine-friends to ALWAYS be skeptical with claims made by the manufacturer. I was very skeptical with this product at first because how is the consumer supposed to know that this is an actual 4:1 extract? The natural medicine industry is not very regulated, so it's easy for companies (especially on amazon) to produce low quality products to maximize profits - at least from my own perspective. Given that, I actually genuinely think this is a 4:1 extract. I have had a few different lions mane products, and none seem to be as potent as this one.

I cannot tell if this does anything after a month of daily use, so am skeptical about the claims.It is ground very very finely, to the point you have to close the pouch very slowly so as not to 'pooooof!' in a cloud of wastefulness. It mixes well, but you will want to add this powder first before any liquids, as it will cake up and stick to the sides of whatever container you use.
