My dog had very bad tartar and as he is protective of his mouth, brushing isn’t an option. I’ve tried multiple different treatments to get rid of his tartar and none have worked like this! My dogs love this lick gel! I can never get around to brushing my dog's teeth with toothpaste. This gel might not be as effective as brushing, but it is super easy to use and my dogs love it. Their breath smells fine and even at 10 years old my big guy does not have gingivitis. My family calls it the dog's "mouth deodorant" for its effectiveness and the fact that the dispenser is exactly like a gel deodorant dispenser. The anti-microbial ingredients seem to keep the teeth and mouth more clean. only four stars simply because it seems over priced, and I do know that brushing would be more effective.

Dogs seem to like the flavor and built up tartar has reduced and softened enough that it can be brushed. Breath odor has improved. I've bought it 3 times now. Minor issue is the applicator, seems as if it leaks a bit so needs to stay upright on a counter.

I honestly ordered one of these because I previously had gotten one for my Boston terrier and he loves them and it's easy way for the dogs to help get their teeth clean etc so I do vouch for this product I did get one with an order I have placed but it was defective and did not work so I contacted Amazon and they were great to send me out another one this one works you just happen to get it effective when every now and then but I'll tell you what they were great about it they handled it got me a new one the next day satisfied customer I vouch for this product

I’m not sure if this works solo but I use it in combination with brushing and dental treats and I feel my dogs’ teeth are somewhat better. But after the first couple I’ve had, these are arriving with the product leaking out. And the one that I kept and am currently using isn’t leaking but it’s more liquified than previous products. I feel like I have a part time job with all the constant returning and requesting for replacements I’m doing!

We give our 3 dogs dental chews every night but they were still getting a lot of plaque buildup and our oldest dog's breath was starting to smell rather unpleasant, so we thought we'd give this a go. We followed the instructions and gave it to our dogs every night right before bed for about a week and then cut back to twice a week for the last few months. Their teeth and gums look much healthier, they love the taste, the smelly breath has been resolved and there haven't been any upset bellies. My only complaint is that the "clicks" are pretty hard to detect when you're portioning it out, but just move slow, channel your inner safe-cracker and it works out.

What I liked was ease of use, to clarify I have two dogs one liked it so it was no problem to administer. The other did not like it at all, so it therefore was of no use to him. It seems like a great concept but it is pricey and doesn't last long. I would estimate two weeks max. Probably better to invest $60 every two weeks and pay for cleaning with the proceeds.
