The lids are cumbersome to remove and replace. Should be hinged. Otherwise, is ok, and decent value for the price.

Very nice shaker set
I am very happy with this salt and pepper grinding set. The glass is very thick and I feel like it's nice and durable. You can set it down with a little more force without worrying if it will smash or not. The stainless steel is s very nice touch as well. It almost has a modern/industrial look to it. It is incredibly easy to set the grinder for what size you want your salt and pepper crushed to. You just take the cap off and turn the black knob on the top. If you turn it enough, it will even close the slot so it's extra protection if you don't want to put the cap back on. I do really like the cap though because it just looks nicer with it on. For a grinder set, I really like these. They look nice and work great. They are easy to refill and have a wide enough opening so it wasn't too difficult to pour the salt and pepper in.
