The inflated tire does not measure 4.00———-try 3.7!!!The tire warms well in dry conditions but is not happy in most wet conditions.The price is right and the construction is good.I will buy another when needed.Regards

For under 40 dollars it is worth it. By my experience with these under 50 dollar tires they do not last long for street use but I am aware of that. The original front tire on my 0ver 3 year old ecotric is still on the bike so even they last longer. So after reshaping the tire by bending the kinks out of the bead and wrapping a rope around the circumference and inserting a screwdriver and twisting to compress it overnight it installed without a problem. I had no issue with the bead popping but I only inflate to 20 psi .The tire says 45 psi max I doubt that. After the tire settles in after a couple weeks I install my home made tire liner cut from the worn flat center 3 rows of the old tire. If you cut it to 90.5 inches and tape seam with gorilla tape it works great no issues.

I bought this to replace 26x4.8 snow tires. It installed easily I paid attention to the rotation marker on the sidewall. I was suprised to see a high inflationn pressure. In my experience a Fat tire bike uses the lower (20PSI max) inflation as a shock adsorber. I am riding a dual motor (750watt) hard tail bike. I set the inflation to 25PSI and as I ride on both dirt and road with a bike trailer 20 oz of slime was added to the inner tube. Even at 25PSI the tube seemed 'soft' it tracked and rode well. I have to say the increased layers in the tire helps with my confidence of not having issures on the road. I ride for transportation as health issues do not qual. me for a license. At this time this tire has earned a strong recommendation. I thank the tire company and Amazon. I will write more over time.

Tires have a strong chemical odor so be cautious where you open the packageNice tread design...just installed and only ridden a few times so not sure about durability yet

I bought these for snow, installed them - and took them out after a re-melt day that left black ice and sheets of melted ice all over the roads and trails..I wore a motorcycle helmet. These tires are STICKY..I'm not sure if it's the treads or the rubber component.. but these stick to dirt, snow, ice slush.. wet leaves.. icy gravel.. I was rather shocked at how well they work and how sticky they are.. one caveat.. the pair I received must have been freshly made.. as they are off-gassing so much I'm leaving the bike in the garage for a few days hoping the rubber smell dissipates.. other than that.. these tires work great.

Tires are smooth and quiet, max PSI is 15. ONLY use a hand pump, anything over 17 PSI you will blow out the side wall.

I dislike changing tires at my rapidly accelerating age of 63.

Received it couple days ago and try to install today , when I opened up and figured out it was much thinner than original tires , that is the reason the price is lower , I just don’t like to change the tires quite often and I think it is easy to flat tires , anyway , you got what you paid for but I won’t keep it.
