Good Enough for Many Purposes at a Low Cost
I have been using combination u-locks for many years and usually pay at least twice the price, so I was thrilled when I found this one. The product came quickly and works exactly as shown with the combination lock moving smoothly and the U-bar sliding out easily. The company reached out by email soon after it arrived to offer assistance should I ever require it, which I haven't.So why not 5 stars? Well, it is a bit smaller than most u-locks out there and, well, if feels sort of cheap. The case around the lock portion is plastic and I can't tell how strong it is inside. I use the lock to secure a kick-scooter worth about $150, but I wouldn't use it for an expensive bicycle (I live in New York City where bicycle theft is an issue.)So, great value for the price, and probably effective at deterring kids from jumping on my scooter and riding off, but it just doesn't feel like a high security item if that is what you need.

Does its job, not too heavy.
I've been avoiding getting a U-lock for the longest time due to worrying about lugging it around. My roommate was concerned that someone would use bolt cutters on my two cable locks that I've been using. So I got this. But I'm still using my cable locks in addition because this U lock isn't big enough for me to lock the frame, the bike rack, and the front wheel together, or even to just lock the front wheel to the frame. If you're wanting to do that you'll need something longer. This works for locking the frame to a bike rack though. It's nice to have for the extra security, but I still need an alternate solution for locking my front wheel (or for locking my bike to trees if I'm somewhere with no bike rack). The lock works smoothly and quickly and I have no complains in regard to its quality.

Haven't had it long enough to see if it will seize up after repeat exposure to rain like other locks
Seems to work well. I've been using mine with a cable to secure the wheels. Bit hard to get around the tires if you've got mountain bike tires, so maybe more suited for road bikes, especially if you're looking to lock the wheels and the frame. Haven't had it long enough to see if it will seize up after repeat exposure to rain like other locks, but time will tell.

This company wants you to be happy with their product
I bought this lock for my daughter as she will be taking a bike to university when she goes back. This lock has a really good strength rating and I thought having a code and not having to worry about a key would be great. The first lock we got didn't work properly so I wrote to the company. By the time I got back from a long weekend, They had replaced the lock and sent me an email explaining everything they were doing to correct the problem. The new lock works great and they have provided me with a very happy customer service experience.

Can be picked in seconds with a ball point pen!
This lock can be opened by anyone with only a ball point pen, or similar pointed item! I chose a U lock because they are difficult to cut or saw through. I decided to try this combination lock because the idea of not having to carry another key was very attractive. However, when it arrived, it became evident that all you had to do to change the combination was stick a pen point in a slot and move a slider over, reset the combination, and slide it back. In other words, there was never any need to know the combination, because you could just reset it to whatever the numbers happened to be, and open the lock! The lock is simple enough that the reset mechanism is right there in plain sight, and only slightly less obvious than the 4 number dials used for the combination. So, given about 2 minutes to play with it, any half-motivated thief would probably manage to stumble on the reset method, and get it open. If they had seen one before and already knew the "secret", they could be in faster than dialing the right combination. Worst of all, it would look to the insurance company and police as if it had not even been locked, because there would be no damage to the lock. Just no bike!

The 4 stars are for the great customer service of the Steadfast company
The 4 stars are for the great customer service of the Steadfast company. My wife bought this lock for her new bike, and for the cheap price you will get a bargain, but it doesn't hold up in comparison to kryptonite locks for securing bicycles. The Steadfast company immediately replied to us and offered a better product.Very nice!

Works fine so far, good price, no "issues."
To be fair, this is by no means a high end U-lock and I got it on Amazon for less of a price than a cable lock, or around $10- or so.We have used it for about a year, it has worked fine and is our secondary lock (we always use two U-locks) accompanying a more expensive lock.Had no trouble opening it, but the plastic housing has cracked off because of a few drops onto the concrete sidewalk.

Disappointing farce.
This 'security' lock is anything but, and the suppliers have refused to respond despite repeated attempts to contact them. It took less than a minute to cut through this lock with an average hacksaw, which we found out by messing up the code. It is easy to use and looks good but wouldn't secure anything against a determined toddler. I would have talked this over with the supplier and not in public if they had bothered to respond to any of my messages.

Cheap and rugged - obvious fake reviews giving it a 5-star rating.
Very small so pretty limited to what you can tie the bike to, admittedly that's my own fault for buying it though as it is clearly measured in the pictures, but realistically most of the things you're going to tie your bike to will require a bigger lock to comfortable tie the bike to. Very stiff and clunky when locking/unlocking, I used it occasionally and literally the first time I dropped it onto the floor the inner mechanism of the lock broke and now I can't open it. Bigger, better and more reliable u-locks on Amazon for the same price/few quid more, worth paying an extra pound or two more, then maybe you won't waste £15 like me. Check out the reviews from people who have actually been verified as buying the product, had very much similar experiences to me.

Got stuck in locked position
Initially managed fine to lock my bike up outside my flat, although the lock was small like others have said. Set the same four-digit combination I use for other locks. Took the bike out one day and was unable to lock it to anything outside a pub, due to the size of the lock - that's my own fault as I should have checked the dimensions before buying. Locked the frame to the wheel instead. Then when I returned an hour later, was unable to unlock it using the combination. To reiterate, I use the same four-digit code for my gym locker padlock, suitcases etc. - I didn't forget it. The lock simply wouldn't open. Had to carry the bike home on my shoulder. Over the next few days I continued to be unable to open it (I don't own a saw). Eventually someone stole my bike from outside my flat. Buying this lock was a very expensive mistake.

Two Stars
I missed the dimensions but it is way to small, and I bet is not secure either...
