I ordered the 2 pack and as soon as they arrived I tested them in a 20 ounce Yeti. I read the directions about getting the best seal, filled my mug halfway with water, put on one of the lids and held it upside down over my sink. Worked like a charm! No leaks! I tried the other lid and unfortunately it dripped. I followed the same procedure but was disappointed with the leaking.It was easy to contact the company because Barak emailed me the same day the lids arrived. All I had to do was respond to his email telling him the situation. Instead of having to return the leaking lid, he just sent me two new ones. They arrived in a few days and passed my leak test!I haven't field tested these lids yet, but am very happy to now have a complete seal on my mugs when I need it.

Unfortunately, the lids rise up when encountering bumpy roads. We are trying to use on a motorcycle but they kept pushingup slowly...physics? Does not work to keep a drink secure.....disappointed...I brought this issue up with the supplier. Gave them a straight-forward review, for what we wantthem for. They offered a full refund.I told them it just did not work for our application, drinking a beverage while on a motorcycle, in the cup holder.It probably works for more stable conditions.Nothing against the company. They tried to make it right, but there is nothingthat can be done for what we want.Probably could work for sipping coffee/cocktails around a campfire, or barbeque pit.More stable conditions.

I poured hot coffee in to my RTIC (old model) mug and tried to close with this lid. And it eased back out almost immediately. First I thought it was because the rubber ring rolls out of the grove. Couple of days later I realized that it is just because the seal is perfect and it is the steam pressure pushes the lid out. Now I leave the snap seal a little open when I close the lid and it works perfectly. Great customer service as well.

I purchased this lid for my 20 oz RTIC tumbler but upon arrival it was clear that it was not the right lid. RTIC has changed the dimensions of the lid on their new 20 oz tumblers and everything is now in disarray. However, Valro mugs delivered service that other suppliers need to emulate. The level of comfort knowing that if you receive the incorrect item or it was delivered damaged or you're just not happy with it and it ends well...THIS IS THE BEST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD ... These are the best replacement lids I have found so far. They stand up well to dishwashers, which is one of my favorite features. Other lids disintegrate quickly. And due to the design, the dishwasher cleans and disinfects them, you don't need specially address inaccessible crannies.

The lids seem well made, and they fit so snugly that you cannot push them all the way into the top of the mug without opening the flip top. The company's communications and quickness to address my concerns were superb. My only complaint is that my nose bumps the flip top when I drink.

This worked pretty well in the beginning and was spill proof. I didn't really like how the lid closure flips up and hits you in the nose when you drink. I would have given it 4 stars except the flip part of the lid broke where it hinges to the lid within 2 months of use. I can still use the lid but it obviously is no longer spill-proof.

I bought this particular model because it claims to be straw friendly but it most definitely is not. You have to ensure you are buying REALLY THIN reusable straws because it's an incredibly tight fit for my traditional yeti/rtic straws to get in here (if at all). Disappointed, because that was the main reason I bought new lids.
