Amaroq Aluminum Giant Dust Pan – 17”

This cost a few dollars more than the competing dust pans,but more than worth it. The aluminum is a much heavier gauge than similar pans. Built solid ,yet still light weight. Don't waste money on cheap tools. Show yourself some love and buy this one!

Nice, a bit smaller than anticipated. Would have liked 24 inches.

This 17" dustpan by Amaroq is terrific! I have two -- one for the cellar, one for the garage. I originally purchased both from another website... liked them so much that I'm about to purchase two more from Amazon Smile -- a 17" for the attic, and a 13" for the kitchen/pantry.So many excellences that I hardly know which to list first! Lightweight. Doesn't warp, stays flat. Handle is easy to grip. Well-balanced in the hand, both when empty and when full. Offset handle, so you can hold it close to the floor without grazing your knuckles.Plenty deep, so all swept stuff stays in it enroute to trash bin; then a simple tilt of the wrist, and that swept stuff slides right off the flat aluminum.Durable -- I bought my first one in 2002, have used it for gravel, broken slate, wet leaves, and, yes, dust/debris... and it is still like-new (though a bit dirty!). Sturdy -- no bent corners, despite hard use.This dustpan just works RIGHT. You will appreciate it every time you use it.

The huge corporation Rubbermaid knocked off a lighter gauge copy of this, but this one is the real, original, Ohio-born American-made deal. Probably an aluminum alloy....rock solid yet light enough to use easily. My neighbor has been using his heavily since 1998 and it still looks good as new. When I admired it he said "wish I knew where I got it, haven't seen anything this great since." So I said to myself, I have to find one. Thanks Amazon!

This is a well constructed pan, and the great thing is it’s made in America..
