Partner asked me to order as he’s a slaughterman, he said they are perfect quality and do the job needed.

Well maybe they aren't 'lifesavers', but these gloves have certainly saved me a few trips to A&E and stitches.Long story short - I've been stocking up on sharp things of late. Knives and a mandoline. But I'm clumsy.Every Sunday I bled half to death carving the roast, and weekdays was a similar story with the mandoline. I had resorted to wrapping rubber bands tight around my fingers until they stopped the blood, because no-one wants drops of human blood on their meal...but it was painful and my fingers went through every shade from white to almost black.Enter the Tydi - NO more cuts!I only use one glove, the one that deals with the blade area; the other I keep as a spare. So far all is well, no cuts and the glove is intact (except for an area on the little finger that has torn/opened, strange as I don't use this area of the glove)Very happy with my purchase anyway, they do the job and I'd gladly recommend to anyone in the same situation.

These gloves do the job but be aware they are only cut resistant not stab resistant, the material is thick enough for purpose but not too thick that it hinders your ability to carve

These new gloves protect me from cutting myself with the new knife my partner kindly bought for me!

Easy to use though I'll admit they feel bulky on the hands, probably what you want though
