NEW, 10 oz. (Ounce) French Onion Soup Bowl, Crock Bowl, Single-Serving, Ceramic, Two-Tone Color, (Set of 2)

These bowls are made very well and have no cracks, chips, or weaknesses. They have done well being in the oven and I'm sure they would do fine in a dishwasher (although I just hand wash them).I know the size says 10oz but I was kind of hoping they would be a little larger. Not the inside of the bowl, but the size of the bowl overall. It's still a great product though.

Tried to make onion soup in the bowl itself and did not work out very well. We ended up making a batch of onion soup in a pot and used the bowls for serving. Nice size for the soup.

We had a very cold winter here in the Northeast this year and at some point I was craving some piping hot French Onion Soup, made from Julia Child's Master the Art of French Cooking. These bowls were great, if a little on the small side, but they were inexpensive and withstood the high temperatures of my oven.

Other reviews have said that these bowls are too small for a standard portion of soup but that is totally false! This is the amount of soup you would get at a restaurant and the frozen French onion soup packs from Costco fit inside of these perfectly. Both bowls arrived quickly and undamaged. I would highly recommend these to anyone!

I bought these to accommodate pre-portioned French onion soup from Costco (frozen, six to a package). They are exactly the right size for a single portion and bake well in the oven. Liked 'em so much, bought a second set. You will be happy with these as long as you understand that these are 10-ounce single-serving size, not larger.

Both bowls were cracked on arrival. There is a crack alone the side that is on the inside and outside. The bowl was fired when it cracked and then glazed over the crack. Poor quality control. Do not buy these...

An awesome pair of soup bowls. I have used them in the oven and mini- oven and they work well. Perfect for soup or small hot meals.
