Excellent upgrade from standard crutches, worth the price.
Excellent upgrade from standard crutches, worth the price. I was using standard issue crutches with hard plastic underarm supports and similar grip at the bottom. These crutches have a much more comfortable underarm support that does not hurt my armpits as much. The hand grip is also cushioned and comfortable. The bottom grips are wider with a softer rubber that really grips the ground and keeps me balanced. It was worth the extra money to buy these.

Only one arrived in the box for $99! Description says two!
I ordered this item and only one crutch came in the box and the description and price indicate that you receive a pair of crutches. I boxed the first order up and scheduled a return. I placed a new order ( this order) and the same thing happened! One one crutch came in the box! I now have a complete set but I have been charged twice. How do I get refunded my $99?? Please contact me. Thank you!

Comfy
This is for my husband and I think he loved it. He has two other simpler ones but he uses this one when he goes out because it looks classy, ;). The foot is wider and have spikes like it can hold unto the mud and ice, (I hope) but overall its beautiful, safe and sturdy.

Ok crutches
I bought these for my husband. He uses crutches every day when he takes his prosthetic leg off. I am hoping that they last longer than the regular crutches. He seems to go through crutches so fast. They are very sturdy but make a lot of noise. I also noticed a bunch of black circles on my floor. We figured out they are coming from the crutches. Even though it mops right up, it is really annoying to see black circles everywhere when you know that you just cleaned the floor.

KMINA crutches for adults Medium
I bought these to replace a less expensive set of 3 piece adjustable crutches. I am 5'-10" and 250 lbs. I am recovering from a major foot injury/surgery that is non-weight bearing for a total of at least 4 months. I misread the chart and initially bought the large size. Guess what? It was too large. The return went well, all is fine. I ordered the Medium which fits me perfectly. I had silver ones for a while and wanted something different, these are black. They are 2-pieces which helps stability. They come with the standard rubber cover on the underarm piece, over that is a neoprene cover that has much more padding. I removed the neoprene because it's too slippery and comes out from between my arm and body too easily. Technically it's not supposed to touch the underarm anyway, so not a big deal. The handles also have extra padding as well, that just sits on top of the handle. It's a nice thought, and it worked ok. However, I couldn't get the handle screws tight enough and the handles rolled under my hand, moving the padded part to the bottom. KMINA has another model that prevents this by strapping the pads to the side bars instead of just the handles. I don't know if this would work for me or not but it SHOULD be on this crutch too KMINA! Otherwise the handles are ok, better padded than less expensive brands, but I've been on crutches for over 2 months already with 2 more of non-weight bearing, and who knows how much after that. I just couldn't take the regular handles anymore, the pressure on my palms was really starting to bother my hands, wrists, arms etc. I replaced the handles with the product below that was $26: Crutch Ergonomic Hand Grips set 2 Special Design Ergo Grips with Max Comfort by ND Products found on Walmart.com or eBay. (See pictures) These handles make it bearable again. Hey KMINA (and all the rest), why aren't these an option? Please add something like this to your product line and IF YOU ever have to use your own products like I am, you will thank me. Now for the crutch tips: If you saw my other review about DRIVE crutches, I mentioned that the tips wore through and I almost fell. Not only will the tips on the KMINA crutches last 4 times longer, they are twice the diameter, don't sink in soft ground, and have better grip, even on a wet floor. I have had the KMINA's now for the same amount of time as when the others wore out and the tip looks almost new. Just be careful, due to their width they have a tendency to get stuck under doors when they close. Pay attention and it will be fine. Great job on the tips KMINA! Now for the crutches themselves: PROS very sturdy, look nice, good padding, excellent tips As discussed, I'm not a light weight, and these crutches are very sturdy. Combined with the tip, I have much more confidence now than I ever did with the DRIVE crutches. I can zip through the house and driveway without fear of them wobbling or slipping. Nice job! CONS - Noisy to distraction The KMINA'S only have one adjustable part, and that is the leg that touches the floor. It's inserted into a tube and adjusted by using push buttons into holes that are very loose. Consequently, each time you pick up a crutch, the leg slides down in the tube, so that the button snaps against the hole making a loud clacking sound, when you put the crutch down, it slides the opposite way making another "clack" sound. As you walk they make a constant clacking sound that is very annoying. It's not as bad as the DRIVE crutches, but annoying just the same. The tube that the leg inserts into, is connected to the top frame by rivets. As these are loose, they introduce another bit of motion that creates noise. KMINA, why not screws? The part that connects these parts all together is plastic. The metal poles are press-fit into the plastic connector. The underarm brackets are also plastic with the same press-fit type connection. The same applies to the leg, it press-fits into the rubber tip. After a few days, all of these press-fit connections started to squeak and creak. Between the clacking and creaking, It was noisy that I was afraid I was going to wake up the whole house during a 3am bathroom trip. I was contemplating sending them back, but this presents other problems. Instead, I customized them (see picture). I took the tips off and sprayed lithium lube spray powder into the barrel. I found two 1.5" #8 button head screws and inserted them into the next hole above the adjuster button. I tightened the nut on the back enough so that the leg doesn't move anymore. I took four (for each crutch) heavy duty zip ties (1/4" wide) and wrapped one just above the plastic connector, in the middle and at the top of the bottom section, then one under the arm rest. I tightened these zip ties as much as I could using pliers. Make sure you cut the tails off flush to the head! Or you'll have sharp points on your crutches! This whole setup applies pressure to the arms making it much less squeaky and creaky. I have to use these for another 2 months, and all of that noise would have driven me crazy. Hey KMINA, there must be a better way!

Excellent service and value.
Had an issue, they solved it quickly and fully. And I am still giving 5 stars. Enough said.

I injured my knee on a bad ski jump. I hate the crutches issued by the Japanese hospitals as they are not comfortable and typically too short. With these, they are comfortable and long enough for my body. And, they support a heavier frame. And, considering how I enjoy many "dangerous" sports, I will probably use these again in the future. So, worth buying instead of renting the hospital versions.
