Wow!
So far, this slicer is awesome. Sliced a whole raw roast down to 1mm for Philly cheesesteaks in no time. Just needed to chill it until firm first. Cleaning was super simple with the right setup and method. Blade is deadly sharp and has the holes to use with KWS removal tool, so I am going to get one from their website ASAP. I didn’t have any trouble removing the blade screws, so they must’ve fixed that issue. I did notice that it is very easy to over tighten them. Soft stainless steel into soft aluminum makes it easy to gall up the threads. I just cinch them down without applying much pressure. Most everything was properly adjusted upon arrival, but I did have to reposition the blade guard ring. I am also going to cut a small relief in the plastic hand guard as it hits the blade guard ring when the carriage is pushed fully to the right and I don’t want to accidentally break it off in use.

Plan on slicing alot of meat.
I have only used it 1 time and im happy so far. I took the reviews advice and bought the bigger better quality slicer! I'm very happy with the quality and use of this machine! It will slice alot of meat. I haven't tried any cheeses yet. The proper clean up does take attention and a little bit of time. My opinion it's worth the time!!

Good slicer, but things to be aware of!
The slicer itself is very good and feels quality. The blade is just under 10". But know a few things: (1) It's involved to clean up, but it is a messy food slicer. (2) We had to use an impact driver to initially loosen the 3 screws that held the blade. (3) We had to enlarge the central bore of the blade disc with a rotary tool so it wouldn't be such a crazy tight fit off and on the hub, had to use a mallet to remove it the first time! (4) We went around all the edges of the unit with sandpaper to remove unnecessarily sharp edges. (5) The teflon coating had some embedded sand specks which ruined the flatness, so I had to chip them out with a screwdriver. (6) the 3 holes on the blade don't perfectly align with the 3 holes on the motor hub, I found this a bit surprising, 120 degree perfection should be simple with today's manufacturing. My suggestion would be to stick to the silver models with plastic handles (the metal handles are heavy!), and then optionally pick the teflon blade.

Pricey but good
A bit more on the expensive side, but the little stronger motor inside it makes it worth it. I needed to grease (silicone, food safe grease!) the slides for the handle and the spike paddle when I got it, which made it feel night and day different than what it was out of the box where it felt super cheap and like it was grinding. Cuts great, no issues with thickness down to shaved on vegetables or meats. Works fine frozen and has enough power to cut through a brick of cheddar cheese if you don't rush it.

Unimpressed
I guess I was disillusioned by the other reviews, but this slicer fails when it comes to cutting vegetabkes and bread. One would think that the teflon blade coukd handle slicing potatoes for a scallooed potato casserole, but the resistance is like trying to use a butter knife to cut through a huge block of cheese. Bell pepper pose an issue as well, perhaps because they are hollow. Is this worth the money just to cut meats and cheese? Guess I should have considered that before the return window closed. I definitly regret the purchase.

No Catch Tray and Hard to keep clean...
I wrote an earlier review giving this a thumbs up. But it's incredibly hard to keep clean. And it needs a catch tray. Much of what is sliced misses the tray I use from a different meat slicer. This would require a specially shaped tray to catch whatever is sliced. I've searched for a catch tray for this slicer but strangely, it doesn't appear that they made one, which seems odd since that seems to be an important component for this product. I actually prefer my much older and cheaper meat slicer because it's much easier to clean and the sliced product falls entirely on the catch tray that they provided with the slicer. This seems like a serious overlook not to include a catch tray with this meat slicer. And to clean this, you have to disassemble the entire thing after every use. It's always a mess... I'm disappointed given what I paid for this...

Expensive Mistake
Coincidentally hauled this out the day before warrantee expiration, and inexplicably it wouldn't turn on. Immediately messaged details on product website. Crickets. No quality, no customer service.
