Fomito V-Mount to NP-F970 F750 F550 Battery Plate Power Supply Adapter for LED Video Light Panel with V Mount

This is a simple device that puts two NP-F batteries in series to create the ~14V that is standard for v-mount batteries. The batteries are placed close together, which is great -- it's more compact than any other similar device I've found. I put two 58Wh batteries on to make a 116Wh v-mount battery for cheap. Definitely a good deal.The connectors to the battery do not appear to be plated, but the v-mount connectors are.There is no d-tap connector on the adapter plate itself; the only way you get power out is via the v-mount connection.

Very disappointed. Its only rated for 5.0 amps. I was hoping it had a 10 amp rating like most v-mount batteries. This will not handle the load for my rig. This should still be ok if you are only using it to power one device. The max 5 amps should be listed on this.

I love this thing. What else can I say, it works! Has been working for well over 2 years. Stays mounted, never failed me. Had 2 other from different brands, this is the one that worked consistently.

Did the job for me. V-mount worked on a LED light, but needs two batteries connected to work on the light

Great product. Well made, works great and having Sony NP batteries feeding v-mount LEDs and other pieces of gear couldn't be better. The plate started at $60 which was pretty pricey, however, they dropped to $32. I contacted them ones and customer service was helpful, nice and supper responsive.

Once the batteries are attached and you attach the v-mount to the equipment, it does not lock on and need duck tape to hold it in place :( On checking other v-locks the plate is smaller and unable to lock in securely!
