Went back to this after dallying with multiple wireless versions. This is just too easy, accurate and dependable. Also way less expensive.

This is a great product! I use it with my pellet grill, and monitor the temperatures using my Samsung Android phone. The phone app works well overall and can set alerts and alarms. The two temperature probes have worked well for me. I can use one to monitor the smoker internal temperature and another one to monitor the internal meat temperature. Or if I am smoking two different items, I can use the two probes to monitor two different internal cooking temperatures.The battery life has been awesome also. I have used it in warm weather, cold weather, and freezing weather with no issues.One minor issue to be aware of is that you can close the phone app kind of by accident if you just swipe and close things. It would be nice if the phone app would have an option to move it into the background, instead of closing. So it would continue to monitor automatically in the background, unless you explicitly told it to exit.

I like the brand, ease of use, and it's overall, a sturdy product. The 1st probe is awesome, great readings, accurate. The #2 probe seems to be problematic. I've made two briskets and two boston butts (smoked). I used them both in the briskets and the second probe seemed to freeze up around 165F. Same when I cooked the two pork cuts. The #1 probe gave me great readings but the #2 seems a little off. That's three different smoking sessions. I changed it's placement to troubleshoot with no change. Not sure if its a in the programming. Also, I get a lot of random disconnections from my phone. Still gave it four stars because the number one probe works like it should and I enjoy using it. It's possible I just have a bad probe. Other reviews don't seem to support my issues so it seems as though it's not a common problem.

Easy to operate and see…i think the 650 ft reach is out of reach… it cuts out pretty quickly when i go inside but outside it works…nice little addition to the smoaker though

I love being able to program the thermometer unit, and while doing other things, it reminds you when it's done. You to choose the proper setting for the type of meat you're cooking and it sends the signal to your cellphone and you can monitor it from anywhere in the house. My wife says the meat is better than ever!! I even smoked a turkey and it was the best one we've ever eaten!!!

We used the thermometer to cook prime rib for the first time and it worked perfectly. Since prime rib is so expensive, we didn't want to mess it up so purchased this thermometer specifically for this purpose. It worked great, easy to figure out and the app makes it so you don't have to keep running to the kitchen to see the temp, you can just check it on the phone. It will also alert you when the desired temp is reached. Roast turned out great! I'm really happy with this purchase.

In my opinion, this ThermoPro remote thermometer is a great value. The associated app presents a clear and concise indication of the internal temperature and the protein being cooked.The product was priced fairly and shipped promptly. I highly recommend this product and the seller.

Worked Great in smoker use using the presets for turkey!! Not sure how to modify set points if capable!!
