North Star Sports Side Loader Duffle/Gear Bag 30 x 50 -Inch 1050 HD Tuff Cloth

For deliveries, I was using boxes that my products were delivered to me in. However, I never had enough, and reusing them caused them to be destroyed after a while. I was looking for something that could handle items that are up to four feet long. These duffle bags fit the bill nicely. They are quite heavy duty and have handles that are conveniently located. Filling them with product and pulling them out of my truck is easy. I think that they're as much as anyone could expect from a product at this price, and I am pleased with it. Why then only four stars? Though in the picture these appear to be canvas, they're not. I didn't expect them to be, but I did expect them to be a reasonable synthetic imitation of it. They do not approximate canvas. They are more brittle and have a definite synthetic and rigid feel about them. I'll put it this way: they do feel heavy duty, but I'm not going to be pulling them off of my truck by the handles with reckless abandon. I do feel that some day they will tear and so I'm using a little finesse with them.That being said, though, I'm glad I bought 'em. I think that with care they'll last a while, and for the price you can't go too badly wrong.

Overall a good bag. I bought the largest one (30 X 50) and its huge! Planning it to use for camping gear like sleeps bags, pads and pillows when the family goes on camping trips. I wish it had the option for a removable shoulder strap but given its size, not sure if the shoulder strap would be useful anyways so I am ok with not having it. It does have handles in the middle and the sides which makes it easy for either 1 person to carry or two people to carry from both ends.

First, I do not work for North Star Sports, nor do I have stock in North Star Sports. Actually, I work in healthcare. Anyway, if you own an 8-person Coleman Instant Tent, which folds to about 48 inches-plus in length, and which for me was too difficult to put back into the carry-bag that it came with, and you are looking for a far better and less fussy bag to carry your folded-up Coleman Instant Tent in, well, this is *absolutely* the bag for that. I mean, there are hardly any bags available out there which will nicely accomodate the dimensions of a folded up Coleman Instant Tent. Most bags are too short, many just barely so. And others, those really big bags, simply swallow the folded-up Coleman Instant Tent like they're tents themselves. Well, this particular North Star Side Loader Duffle, being 50 inches in length, DOES hold an 8-person Coleman Instant Tent nearly perfectly (if you want to put your tent pegs, etc., in that bag too, then it's actually probably PERFECT!). I highly recommend this bag for anybody who is searching for an easily-luggable storage bag for their Coleman Instant Tent. I wish I had found this bag years ago.

I might have been too greedy when I ordered this, as it is too big! Keep this in mind. I don't recommend taking this to an airport. I used it for a road trip. I can't take stars away from this as the size was disclosed in description. This bag, however is unwieldy. Very difficult to impossible to handle by one person. Two people holding it by the handles on opposite ends, no problem. You will be tempted to drag it by one handle, but I don't know how long it will last. Other than that, material is very sturdy and nice quality. It appears to be weather proof. It rained moderately on my bag for a couple of hours while it was in the back of a pickup truck, but all content remained dry. Zipper works fine, no snags. When empty it rolls up or folds easily to a small bundle. I kept it despite its unmanagable size. Its a good bag, perfectly priced.

Bought this bag to store a Supersize love sac. We got 99.5% of the bag in and shut, but due to the cheap bag we were using to shrink the love sac into this one I couldn't quite fit it. I should have gone with the bigger size. On the other hand we used a couple of ratcheting tie downs to seal the 4" gap that we couldn't get the zipper closed and the bag is holding up REALLY well even with the enormous pressure the love sac puts on it from the inside. I havent been able to move it into storage yet as it weighs about 100lbs with the love sac in it and weighing only a little more than that myself I can't quite maneuver it. So my children have been jumping and bouncing on it for a couple weeks and the bag is holding it's own. Great purchase especially for the money!

Did not receive the bag. I got an outdoor army looking type vest instead.I didn't have the money at the time to send it back and the seller didn't respond to my queries. But I still have the vest. It has many pockets and places to put things if you're the outdoor type. But its prolly worth more than what I paid as it was a mistaken shipment. Guess I can give it to an outdoor type person. Anyone here wants it, it is an medium fit. Send to my name asking about it and we can strike up something you can agree to.

This is a very well made bag. I also purchased  Northstar 1050 HD Tuff Cloth Diamond Ripstop Series Gear/Duffle Bag (18-Inch x 42-Inch)  which is shorter in length but larger in diameter (the reason for my 4 instead of 5). As long as you know the size is a little smaller than advertised you'll be happy. It's a quality bag.
