Update: Excellent Customer Service
Update: I had an issue with my purchase, but this seller immediately resolved it. It is definitely worth giving this product a try due to the excellent service provided here when I ran into an issue. Very grateful.I bought two of these, one for my six year old and one for my seven year old. Within two weeks of having themâand seldom handling themâthe bottoms of all but two of the six pieces no longer stay in place. Upon picking them up, the bottom drops out and thus the money falls out.Really wish I had the boxes still to return these. A great idea but poorly executed and thus not useable.

Cute, but Disappointing
Update: The seller is very nice and understanding; they gave me a refund a said they are working with the manufacturer to resolve the problem with the bottoms falling off.If they can resolve this issue, it will be a great product. đ So take caution before you buy the product. They are working on fixing the problem, but not sure when it will be resolved (so have your tape or glue ready đ). On the bright side the broken bottom allows the bills to come out very easily. đ¤ˇđťââď¸Original:I was very disappointed in these piggy banks. They are cute and stack well, but the bottom hole is too small for bills to get out easily and the bottom of two of the banks have come off all really (the first one broke on the first day). The kids wanted to keep them and taped the bottoms back on, but combining the fact that itâs hard for the kids to get the bills out of the bottom and they broke so quickly I would not buy these again.

Cute bank-coin hole was too small, but bank is great with some modifications
I bought this for my 6-year-old son, who loved the stacking brick design, and I liked the idea of the Save/Share/Spend compartments to get a dialogue going about what we do with our money. The idea of the bank is great and it looks really cute. Unfortunately a design flaw is that the slot to drop in the money is too small. Right when my son got the bank, he wanted to transfer his money in, but he couldn't fit his bills through the slot. A dollar folded twice should slide into a money bank slot; but the slot is smaller than the length of 1/4 of a dollar bill! The slot is also quite narrow, so trying to fold the dollar again made it too thick to jam through. I had to force the bills in for my son, he couldn't put them in himself! I used a Dremel tool to enlarge the coin opening--making the slot a little longer so that a bill folded twice would fit in. Worked great after that. It's a bit tedious getting bills out of the small hole on the bottom. I wondered if the whole bottom panel of the bank was removable. I pulled on the bottom of one of the cubes, and the bottom did come off--but then wouldn't stay back on, oops, guess it was not designed to come off! I could have glued the bottom back on, but I liked the idea of having a the bottom pull off to make it easier to take out the money. I needed to add a little thickness and grippiness to the bottom panel so it would fit back in snugly. I cut some strips of clear duct tape and lined the sides of the bottom panel that I had pried out. Worked great! The bottom fit back onto the bank snugly and stayed on. Now if my son needs to count his money, I take off the plug on the bottom and hook my finger in to pull off the entire bottom panel. Easy to get all the money out at once. I made the change to all three blocks so that all are easy to open. The bank is much improved with these tweaks of enlarging the coin slot and making the bottoms removable. (Try these tweaks at your own risk, they worked for me, but you could damage your bank. I happened to have clear duct tape on hand which was nice because the bank is so cute and I didn't want the tape to be noticeable. If you don't have clear duct tape, regular duct tape or another way to add some thickness/grippiness might work--possibly a thin bead of clear silicone caulk around the rim of the bottom and leave it to dry without putting the bottom back on.)Update 11/8/17, the seller reached out to offer a refund on my purchase because of their 100% satisfaction guarantee, "We appreciate your honest feedback and we are taking steps to improve the product's future design." So 5 stars for customer service. I didn't write the review to complain but just to let others know how they might make the bank work better. If the company does improve the design by at least enlarging the coin slot on the top, this will be a 5-star bank.

Great idea, but bad execution
I bought two of these for my grandsons. Right out of the box one of them had one cube where the bottom fell off and wouldnât stay on. The others all looked fine and they were so anxious to use them that I didnât want to wait and get a replacement. I used hot glue and glued it back on. It doesnât stack quite as well and you can see it doesnât look as nice but he didnât care. Next day, three more fell off. I tried superglue but they werenât a tight enough fit for it to even adhere so I went back to the hot glue. Fun fact, hot glue does not stick to superglue. Sigh. Got them all back together. Then we went to deposit their money in the bank, and flipped them over to take the coins out. Well, the little bottom thing fits into the hole and falls inside the bank đ¤Śđťââď¸. They also donât stay well so when the kids were walking around with the banks a couple of the bottoms fell off and coins went everywhere and there was no telling which bank they came from.Suggestionsâsomehow the bottoms need to stay on. Next the hole stopper needs redesigned so it is harder to open accidentally and wonât fall in the hole.I love the idea. I hope they will be durable enough to take a few drops and not break because the kids love them and Iâm trying to teach money skills.

Cute but cheap
Our 4 year old recently got into legos and we thought this would be a great tool to help her learn to save, spend, and share. However one of the bricks arrived cracked and you can just feel how easy it is to break. The bricks arenât fun to stack either as it feels like they will shatter.
