Very nice camera! I paid $55
Very nice camera! I paid $55.00 then had it hard-wired to my car to take advantage of the parking mode feature ($265.00) at a local car alarm/stereo installation store and bought a 32 GB micro disk so I don't have to worry. I like that it automatically records and locks the video if you happens to get in a fender bender or wreck. It was well worth it. When backing up it turns into a back up camera with a diagram to let you know how close things are and when to stop! I really enjoy the picture in picture feature, though I purposely had them mount it up higher behind my review mirror so I wouldn't get distracted...if I want to see where I've been I can watch it on my computer. I have to concentrate on my driving and my GPS. I've had it for about a month and am very pleased!

Good product but had its flaws
Setting up is easy. Basically plug and play. The only issue is that the settings don't seem to work properly as I can't get the camera to stop recording in 3-minute segments instead of one continuous recording.

Worked great till January 2018 with no issues
Bought in July 2017. Using 32 gig card. Worked great till January 2018 with no issues. Now get message that to many files locked need to delete or format. Did both of those but within a day of driving same message again. Also my screen has started going black after about 2 minutes. Contact company and was advised to format each time. Wish I could make negative stars. Now my second cam is requesting to be reformat after just a day when I have a 32 gig card in there. Wouldn't recommend to anyone even my worst enemy.

Can't go wrong
The camera itself works very well. My only problem is that the few, multifunction controls aren't very intuitive, and the instructions aren't very helpful. So plan on a little bit of a learning curve when you first get it.After the initial setup of your preferences, there really isn't much you need to do. I currently have a 64GB card installed that seems to take about 3 hours of video at the highest quality setting. When I get the signal that the card is full and that previous data will be overwritten, I always seem to struggle with the correct button presses to get to the place to reformat the card. If you choose not to reformat a full card then the camera will stay on continuously, like in the products picture, instead of going black after the first minute of operation. This also confused me initially as I wasn't sure the camera was working. I'm not aware of a setting where you can have it stay on all the time or not? But I believe it's programmed this way so that it's not running continuously at night which would be a distraction, at least to me.But as I mentioned, the video, as well as the audio quality are quite good. I also purchase this for its wide field of view. Price wise I couldn't find any other cameras that went beyond 140 degrees or so unless you started spending quite a bit more money. In my opinion, having this wide field of view is absolutely crucial if you are in an accident where you are broadsided or if you broadside someone else. I went through two other cameras and returned them for various reasons, but that was one of the major reasons. I wasn't in an accident but when I watched some of the videos that had been recorded I realized that at intersections you couldn't see the oncoming traffic at all to see if a turn signal was on, or any other factors that may show fault.Overall this is a good Dashcam for the price.

Works great and good price , great quality !
I bought two of these one for each vehicle and they work great !! Exceptional quality. I love the split screen mode and being able to use as a back up cam ! My only negative comment about this is the instructions should really include a diagram for wiring the rear facing camera and best possible wire layouts !! It's not impossible to figure out but for those that aren't so mechanically inclined it would be a huge help and possibly stop any returns from not being able to figure out how to install entire product !

I'm not sure if it's really functional in the long run/ The front camera does have a good FOV. Also the screen is nice
Description wrong. Rear camera has FOV of about 65 degrees. I tried another similar product that had the same looking rear camera, and it had the same FOV. This was a deal breaker for me, since I was hoping it actually was somewhat close to the 120 or 140 FOV they advertise.I looked at the recorded rear footage from the other product that had the same camera, and it had only 480p rear recording too. I can't be totally sure about the rear resolution for this rear camera, but they look identical. Also, every now and then it says "unlock [file]", so i have to hold "OK" to unlock it. It might use a different word instead of "file", I forget. So it's not really set and forget. I'm not sure if it's really functional in the long run/The front camera does have a good FOV. Also the screen is nice, but it does get severely affected by polarized glasses. I left the protective film on the screen, since it helped with polarized glasses.Would not recommend! But I would recommend it over the one's that clip on the rear view mirror, at least the one I also tried.

I do enjoy the rearview camera feature and use this unit as ...
For a $60 camera....eh.Set up, the camera and rear camera, used for 3days. The battery life is literally 2sec from loss of power source. Camera writes, but seems to have issues with re-writing over older files as my 64gig microsd card is too full ("too many files"). The auto power off works not at all or too well (shuts off and won't come back until loss of power), kinda worried about battery life with screen on as well. The lock feature comes and goes, I figure it's due to the motion or vibration setting. I do enjoy the rearview camera feature and use this unit as a rearview, driving a box truck. Is this just a $60 camera or should I exchange for another?

You get what you pay for caution
I bought this dash cam for my car a couple months ago and let me just say you get what you pay for the power wire broke within the first couple months and I could not figure out how to set the camera on looping so if you purchase just beware
