Bargain-priced, Easy-to-Use, Great to have in Supply Cabinet for Marker Projects
I needed a little test light for a 12-volt automotive project. It involves an adapter from the fuse box to a wiring harness so I can see what fuses are hot with the low beams, the high beams, and the fog lights. I used a piggy-back pigtail to tap into the fuse box and wanted something cheap and lightweight to get my attention when the power was on or off.I bought the 120 bulb assortment because the price was right. I took five (5) different LEDs and wired them in parallel and touched them with a bit of solder. I then fed the leads through an empty candy bottle and added a fast disconnect crimp connector on the tinned leads. The result is a lightweight and cost-effective test light that won't leave a mark if you bump the paint or plastic on a car and the light of five LEDs seems bright enough to get my attention in all but the brightest of areas. Need more light, add more LEDs.The fact these have leads already attached was a big time saver for me. So far all units tested work. I have also ordered some panel bezels to put a few of these bulbs into the face of a project box. They are nice. The photo was taken in a room without lighting using the Night Sight mode of my cellphone. The actual impact of the light is brighter to the human eye but the cellphone auto-adjusted when the room lighting was on and you couldn't see the jar was lit in the photo, but you could see it live and in-person. This imager fairly depicts how the LEDs appear.

Great Replacement for a Different Sub-Par Product
I have several expensive (near $100 each) lighted post caps from a brand that rhymes with T-Rex and they have steadily failed over last several years. The lighting circuit was way over engineered with a circuit board to house the resistors. There was no humidity protection which led to corroding and ruining the resistors making the light useless. I was able to disassemble the post cap, remove the circuit board and lights and gang eight of these together to connect straight to the power. Now the connections are soldered and shrink wrapped so no worry about corrosion in the future. Resistors are wired straight in so everything is ready to go. You'll need a very small wire gauge stripper and the leads are very delicate so handle gently. Ordering 50 more to complete the rest of the caps as they continue to fail.

Great LEDs, wires swapped
Fantastic little LEDs. Standard size and brightness. Great for the price and excellent for hobbies/ what I need them for. Includes an inline resistor that's soldered and heatshrinked over. Works with 3-14v (just from what I've tested). My only complaint is that on most, NOT ALL, but most of these, the colored wire is connected to negative post on the LED instead of the positive post like its supposed to be. The black goes to the postive on the LED on most of these. So it can be confusing when you go to wire them up and it doesn't light, swap the polarity and you'll be fine. Not a big deal for me but a minor annoyance.

I waited months to review these Led's after installing them in multiple projects.
The first thing to know is they are highly directional giving a very narrow beam. They are as directional as the image would suggest, they do not illuminate like an old light bulb -at all. that does not mean they have to be avoided however. I used them as dash indicators but only after adding a 200k resistor. I highly suggest 50-250k for dimming them for a switch panel on/off light. They can be series wired and used as cargo box lights but they are a better for indicator, spot light, strip light kind of use than say an under hood illumination light because they are so directional. They make a good very narrow beam flashlight and they worked great for my 12/9/5/3 v DC power supply project as on off indicator for the 3volt lead because they did work well off only 3volts.

Simple - Affordable - Easy - Rugged - Works!
I needed some 12 volt DC LED's in various colors for ongoing vehicle projects and these fit the bill perfectly. They're pre-wired with leads, which make hookup and soldering easy. All of the LED's worked fine and they are bright enough to use as an indicator yet not too bright for use on a vehicle at night. The polarity is kinda backwards from how you would suspect. The black lead is positive, not ground and the colored lead is negative. Not a big deal.Quite a bargain for a bag of great little LED's...

Solid but cheap DIY led's
Well, they all light up. Quality control seems good. All had good wiring. These lights have clear plastic globes, with different color led units. All are adequately bright. The orange is not so orange, but rather a orangish whiteish light. Fit my purposes though.Very good price, fast shipping, good packaging. I'd recommend or buy again. If this review helps then click so.

Bright without problems
The media could not be loaded. All lights confirmed working and bright warm semi-yellowish on 12v. Yellow wire is positive, white is negative. Was able to go down to 3v to light them up. Still remained lit at 32v. Heat is hardly noticeable. Lights consume 0.009 amps at 12v. I was able to clip the wires and bend the leads to fit this within an old indicator lights housing. Lights are bright, so you may need to look at how to diffuse the light.

Short 20 lights but good quality
Happy with the quality, packaging and punctuality. The reason for the reduced rating? I only got 100 lights and the color missing is the one I was looking forward to using the most. Unfortunate but not the end of the world. This purchase would have been a great value if I had received the other 20 lights.
