TontronAdult Hiking Climbing Caving Work Helmet

As everyone knows, a quality bicycle helmet from a local brick and mortar store can easily reach the mid hundreds and more. I’ve tried on some of the less expensive ones and they just done feel secure nor safe.Shopping through Amazon, I came across this helmet from Tontron Sports. I ordered the helmet on 3/24/17 and received it on 3/27/27. What service!To the helmet, it is a half circle helmet. It has circumference head adjuster which is super easy to adjust. The chin straps are well designed where it doesn’t rub against ones ears. Nice. The lining is around an inch to inch and half thick; which should provide good impact protection. The shell is a nice and hard. I especially like the emergency contact label affixed to the inside lining. I’ll be eager to try the helmet headlamp buckles when I go night riding.This lightweight helmet fits my 23” head well. The design should provide good UV protection. I bought a white helmet which should keep me cool during the hot summer days. And its design provides good air flow which will keep my head cool during hot summer days.I hope I never get to try the effectiveness of this helmet but I believe it will protect my head from severe impact injury. As I said, this helmet, pretty sweet deal for the price.

Me quedo abiertamente pequeño y por ende incómodo.Plásticos no tienen buen aspecto. Además tengo problemas para devolver parece que me lo voy a tener que quedar a pesar de no ser de mi gusto y ahí quedará en la bodega.

I have a smaller narrow head, so it was too wide and wobbled. It fit my son fine and fellow caver. It seems to be good caving helmet, just not for narrower head profiles.

This helmet was great. It was my first time caving so I didn't realize how important a helmet would be. I bumped my head twice and I was glad I had it. It was easily adjustable so it stayed in place the whole trip.

If you are getting this a a guest helmet or if you and not going you use it very often it will be OK. If you plan to use a helmet a lot then spend more money and get a nicer one. I have had it on two caving trips and had to wear a doo rag under it for padding.

I used this for a spelunk camping trip. I stayed in the cave all weekend. This is helmet was adjustable (I have a small head and it fit great after adjustment). I didn’t have to adjust the headlamp all weekend (which was important since it was my main source of light while spelunking). Great helmet, would recommend for spelunking.

It's a durable product and fits right but I wish it had more padding in the front to sit more comfortably at the top of my forehead. I don't have much hair there so that would really help.

It's Heald up great, its comfortable, not bulky and the price is pretty reasonable.

My wife and I are incredibly happy with our helmets. We bought them for a caving trip in Ontario. It was so funny to see her bang her head several times on the roof of the cave and be grateful for the helmet at the same time. Great product in perfect alignment with the price. Best value! Good quality overall.

Decent helmet for the price. It's no petzl or black diamond but it works.

Safety and light weight to carry

Adjustment knob for tightening the helmet at the back is very flimsy and difficult to operate.
