I have been dissuaded from shaving all my life. Well, that’s a gross understatement to be honest because I have been instilled with just the right amount of fear that made me steer clear of razors during my adolescent life. From my girlfriends to the chatty ‘parlour wali didis’, they all concurred, voicing similar concerns around the matter—shaving leads to hair growing back thicker and faster. So, a monthly waxing session at my local salon has been my go-to for body hair removal and since my face is super sensitive and prone to breaking out into bouts of acne at the slightest signs of stress, I turned to threading to get rid of the peach fuzz on my face. And let me tell you that threading down this path isn’t as easy as it may seem. Now that you know where I am coming from, it is easy to comprehend my instinctive dismissal of face razors
