Good story for the whole Christian family

The first time I watched this movie I didn't like it very much probably because of the surprise ending. I felt sorry for Sandra's character. But the second time I viewed it I really enjoyed it and I could see that Sandra's character was not really in love and would be just fine with her new life with her son.Someone criticized Ben's character for being fickle and disloyal but they did not see that one of the Forces of Nature is the attraction between the sexes. The two characters spent a lot of time together, went through a lot to of trauma together and developed an intimacy which could cloud anyone's perception. Ben (can't remember character names) had carried Sandra from the airplane and started caring about her as a person, her life and her well being. He also had single friends telling him he would lose his freedom in marriage and a married man told him that love fades, so some doubt was thrown into the idea of marrying his fiancée.So in my opinion this is a natural way that people often feel before making the commitment of marriage and I do not judge Ben's character harshly as some other reviewers. All in all the movie is entertaining and amusing. Try it again and just say "That's Hollywood" when they cross the line as they often do.

Being a fan of Bullock and Affleck, I decided to watch this film. I haven't watched it previously because I didn't have high expectations. However, I thought it was enjoyable and not entirely expected. There is impressive acting, a fantastic cast, and a really strong narrative and plot. The movie is not something you would want to watch often, but it is acceptable for a single or infrequent viewing.

I enjoyed the film excepted for it's twisted ending. One will assume when two people meet and the chemistry is flowing between them, this is it! Found the one, that moves Ben and her to higher levels of enjoyment like never before. They meet every hardship that nature threw at them, with laughter and bonding between them. Not anger or hard-feeling, or blaming each other got in their way. A real model of behavior to show "How to bear Hardship".But Ben has to break the news to the so-called wife to be, falls flat on his face, and can not call off the marriage. Ben does not know his true self. The so-called ending summary of love, what it is, is exactly like ANY kind of relationship between family members, friends, and just trying to get along with people. Hardship breeds bonding and inner spiritual peace when it all over and they are together. And Ben last saying "he will never forget her" shows that ever lasting love. Ben grow up and do it with Trump.

i dont understand why hollywood keeps putting ben afleck aka wooden mouth breathing man in rom coms, he has zip attraction to any of his female costars and unfortunately even bullock couldnt get him to relax enough for this to be believable. at times his staring at her in scenes was so creepy it made me laugh. so zip for costar attraction, whats the rest of the movie like? lets see, really horrible southern accents and cliche shallow supporting cast. Not blaming the actors, they did their best but terrible editing made all scenes so plodding and terribly dull.why 3 stars then? the ever expanding disasters was fun and interesting. The last part of the movie was really good, unexpected and mr. wooden actually had a scene where he EMOTED and breathed thru his nose. (no really, he did good in that scene) if the rest of the movie had been as real as that and skipped the vacuous cliche gags it would have been 4.5 stars.

......just open your heart fearlessly and with all the raw here I am vulnerability. Why not just be honestly unapologetically, you; with the biggest open heart you can muster. All you need is LOVE...ba ba ba ba bom!

The chemistry between the 2 was non-existent which killed the credibility of the love story. I couldn't stop the movie though because Sandra's acting was superb. The directing and script was excellent. I found myself laughing out loud more frequently that I expected which, didn't make any sense since the story was tumbling towards disasters after disasters (no pun intended). I rarely like movies that don't make sense. I usually seek formulaic, predictable, feel good movies but this movie made me feel different. I'm getting married soon, coincidentally; so, I understood the lesson this movie taught. With the exception of "A Walk to Remember," I actually enjoyed this non-formulaic story. It was quirky at times but realistic and even poetic and beautiful at times. I appreciate the screen writer and producer having the courage to produce a realistic story for once. Lastly, I recommend this movie to anyone having cold feet.

On the front cover of this DVD in big bold letters it says in quotes "Outrageously Funny" - I didn't think that this movie was particularly outrageously funny, certainly not something I'd die laughing over, but if there were two movies on, One that I know is Outrageously Funny, and Forces of Nature, I would rather watch this movie any day. It is true that this movie did contain some lines of good humor, and some traits and sequences intended to make the easily laughable laugh, and I can see why people would write "this movie is horrible" in their review, simply based on this humor. But that just proves my theory that the best way to watch a movie is to forget about what everyone else is saying, forget about the fact that The box the DVD came in is kind of odd, or that the Interface is somewhat pixelated and over active, and just watch the movie looking to enjoy it. This movie deserves a 5 rating because it is a movie that I can sit down and watch, mainly because of it's fun attaching nature, and the fact that while it may be touted as a comedy or a love story or whatever else the reviewers may write, this movie is a perfect conglomeration of all the elements of film making with a little bit of every style, with not too much or not too little of any. Get this movie and watch it, you won't regret it.

Not the best film for either of the main leads, but entertaining in a gentle way.

Amusing story, enjoyed it, but didn’t like ending.

I didn’t find this film as funny as it said but love Sandra
