Seems to be made of good quality materials. Coil has a wire cable in center, covered is plastic/rubber. Ankle attachment is soft neoprene and hook/loop fastening, very comfortable and easily fits on my ankle with plenty of room for adjustment. I have an athletic build at 5'9" 200lbs. Some reviewers have mentioned that the cable is too tight while coiled. Mine barely offers any resistance, even when stretched out to 5-6 feet. In my opinion, this is a perfect safety attachment for use on a paddle board, as I'm intending it's use! Excellent product.

I love this leash. It's the perfect length (wont drag in the water) and most importantly: it's comfortable!! I don't notice wearing it at all when I'm on my iSUP. :) The quality is amazing - It was the first thing I noticed after I unpacked it. It's very durable and well made. I've had it for a week and I'm happy to report no issues so far. I also love the color (honestly, it is what made me buy it in the first place) and it looks great on my board.

I know this is for surfboard tethering, so you don't lose your surfboard in wild seas, but for me it was used so I didn't lose my husband on shopping sprees. I could have turned that into a nice poem, but you're welcome. My husband with FTD dementia, always tried to evade me in a store. He'd wait until I picked something up to read about it, or when I talked to an employee. One second he was there, the next he was gone. I began a quest for a better, longer child tether, but none were available. I suddenly remembered seeing a surfboard tether and thought it might work. So I got it. YES! This was perfect! This gave me the hands free monitoring I was looking for. I looped the string end through his belt loop so he couldn't remove it, and then put the velcro ankle strap on my wrist or purse or shopping cart. It works like a child tether except it is longer and stronger and one end isn't easily removable. It was literally a life-saver! I know this isn't what it is FOR, but I've told many people over the last year and a half how well this works for this dangerous tendency in dementia patients, giving us the freedom to go out again.

Completely worth the money! I use the leash primarily for flat water on my paddle board and it is excellent. I can see no reason to pay more. Very comfortable! I used the cuff itself to connect my paddle board and three friends kayaks via their front handles while we all hopped off and swam and it half up perfectly. I have not been paid for my review in any way.

Break leash at an affordable price. Perfect length and stays nice and coiled. The Velcro is strong so you don’t have to worry about it coming off. I do wish it had come with a clip or carabiner too attached to my standup paddle, so I removed one star for that.

My husband and I are new owners of SUP boards and after paddles, leashes next thing to buy (super important!). I ordered two leashes and they came packaged well and an email from seller Surf & Snow Warehouse with directions how to properly attach leashes. Was very easy and last night when we fell several times in choppy water was so happy to have board come back to me! Great product, Great communication - Happy.

I got this for use on a couple of new paddleboards we bought for the family this summer. The boards are both inflatable SUPs from two different manufacturers. The leash is very comfortable and easy to secure to the board. I really did not notice it at all on my ankle when we took the boards out - UNTIL- I went one day on way less sleep than I should have. There were lots of boats in the river and I was having a terrible time staying upright (so much for the stand UP paddleboard concept). I landed in the drink a record 4 times. The leash stayed secure, kept the board nearby, and the fact that it was coiled seemed to help me clamber back up on the board each time. Very happy with this purchase, especially for the price. The seller checked in to make sure it arrived safely and in good condition, which I also appreciate. Would definitely buy again if we purchase another board!

I ordered a paddle and a foot tether. The paddle never arrived due to no fault by BPS (Amazon recalled the package When it was damaged in transport). I am still so thrilled to have ordered from BPS And the level of customer service they provided. They sent me several messages and Forwarded me installation and usage information.
