This is a great set for the price! All hand made and look really neat. You do not need to pull much so they are good for smaller kids, but they will still need some adult supervision at least at first until they get the hang of it. The rubber tips on the arrows are great, they resemble real medieval arrowheads and stand up pretty well. I gave 3 stars for accuracy only because of how they are designed. You slide an arrow through a hole in the handle that lines it up with the string. Because it goes through the handle and not along the side of it, you cant aim very precisely as the handle blocks your view. As these are most likely intended for make believe and fun, and not for target practice, this does not bother me. They ship as a set and one of the bows had a defect that caused it to break rather than flex. I contacted the seller and they were AMAZING! They quickly replied to my email and, after giving them my address, sent me a replacement which arrived very fast. Overall I am completely satisfied with this product as well as the level of service they provided. I definitely recommend these if your kid is into fantasy play like Lord of the Rings etc.

We haven’t had long enough to see long term quality but really happy with purchase. The look was exactly what we were hoping for and kids have been enjoying them. Perfect, also, for part of a Green Ember book themed birthday!

One bow broke, I bought 4. But overall, despite one braking, great quality product, shoots GREAT, was a big hit at our kids' party. Easy enough for a 7 or 8 year old to use by themselves. Our 5 year old couldn't quit get it. Arrows not dangerous, rubber tip.

I ordered this item for an activity for my son's 6th birthday. It arrived about a month before the party, so I set it aside. When we got the bows out to use, my 4 year old's bow had a split in it and the whole bow snapped. The boys were able to share the other bow and it worked perfectly! The issue with the broken bow was quickly resolved by the seller. They sent us a complete replacement product at no addition cost even though the return window had closed! After a few tries, even the little guy was able to shoot it on his own. The target was about 20 feet away and the kids had no trouble hitting it. The arrows fired wherever they were aimed, as expected. The kids did overshoot the target a few times, and the arrows flew about twice as far, so the distance is good for longer range shots. The rubber tips were great for allowing the children to load their own bows. I really like that there's a hole in the front to steady the arrows as well as a slit in the back of the arrow to steady it on the bow when they pull back. The kids used them responsibility, as directed, and had a great time (under adult supervision)! I would DEFINITELY recommend this seller AND this product! It was perfect for our purposes!

But the fact that all the arrows are made of unfinished wood and they go through a hole in the bow means that if they warp (which 9 of the 20 did, even though we keep this toy inside when we aren't playing with it) they don't shoot very well. It is lots of fun for the kids, but they get really frustrated when it shoots somewhere they didn't aim it to go. This is just a stepping stone toy to see if my son (5 years old) and his friends want to get more into archery before I buy him an actual youth bow, but I guess it served its purpose.

I bought this product to use as props for my kids' "Literature Day" costumes, so I paid more attention to look than anything else. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them though as they were way better than what I'd expected. These things are really well made! They're durable, super easy to use (the arrows go through a whole in the bow rather than being knocked on the side) and enough power to be enjoyable. That last bit is something to be aware of. The soft rubber point will still easily penetrate a thick piece of cardboard at 5-8 feet so teaching your kids to treat them like real weapons is a good idea. These are not for shooting in the house or at other people and supervision is a must. I use them as a great tool to talk about safety and being aware of your surroundings, especially since the arrows are unfletched and the shafts aren't always straight so "aiming" is more determining general direction than anything else. The only problem we ran into is the rubber tips don't always handle the force of impact very well and a few broke off or tore pretty quickly. It comes with a lot of arrows though, so unless you're super unlucky, the attrition won't be an issue. Overall though, these are really high quality, especially for the price, and the product exceeded my expectations by a lot. The kids love them and it's been a great "thing to do outside with dad" item for our family.

We used this as part of a Halloween costume and it came with lots of realistic arrows and the bow itself is so cute and works well. The kids love it!
