My cats LOVE this stuff. No fillers / other ingredients that cats don’t need. Cats are carnivores and this is a perfect carnivorous cat food for them. They never get sick of it. Glad we got them off other brands that aren’t as good for their health.

Expensive if you’re used to buying cheaper brands, but my cat really likes it. The ingredients are very transparent and support a carnivore properly. I specifically buy the After Dark though for that reason. It was a lot of moisture which is great. No funky smell either. I will say that in comparison to other, maybe stinkier foods, it’s much harder to entice my cat to eat (I think because it had such a low smell. Think about whether you want to eat a grilled chicken breast or a Big Mac) . I started just topping it with something to get her going (like a freeze dried minnow or treat I know she enjoys) and then all was well. No stomach issues on her end either.

I love this cat food! Tiki Cat is fantastic - they offer a wide variety of flavors and textures - but this variety is my favorite. The flavors in this pack offer a balanced variety, and I love that you can clearly see the ingredients right before your eyes. It actually looks like people food! One day I tried it because I was curious, and it tasted like human-grade canned chicken, which is probably exactly what it is. "After Dark" gets its name because the flavors and ingredients of this particular variety are supposed to satisfy cats' natural hunting cravings. I believe they do, because my boy is a bit of a finicky eater, and he seems to enjoy these cans. The can with the quail egg is my favorite, because you can see a half of a quail egg right in the can, and it actually looks appetizing! My cats always gobble the eggs right up. (Eggs are also very healthy for cats because they are rich in vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids like taurine - great for vision, healthy coats and muscular strength.) I would say it's a five-star product but I find it a bit pricey, so I deducted a star for that. I can't afford to feed it to my cats regularly, so I purchase it as an occasional treat.

My cat devours these and loves the taste. You can actually see the real protein pieces. No stomach upset at all.

I’m a new cat mom, though I had some experience sitting cats before adopting mine from the street. He just followed me home! Until I was ready to settle on a better pet food, I fed my cat Friskies for about 3 months. I knew I wanted to stay with a wet variety since that’s what their bodies need, but was unsure if I could justify paying double the price. After watching Jackson Galaxy’s cat food series, I gained a lot of info that helped me make an informed decision about which cat food to get. While I’m sure my cat would have been perfectly fine with Friskies (the cheapest wet food is always better than the most expensive dry food), I wanted to ensure my cat was getting the best I could afford. Tiki Cat is really one of the better canned foods on the market. There are like 3-5 cuts of chicken before there’s anything else, the moisture content is high and it omits a lot of stuff that cats don’t benefit from eating. My cat is about 10-11 lbs (he was adopted that way) so I do about 1.5 cans per day. With Friskies he was getting more food for sure (their cans are 5.5 oz cs tiki cat’s 2.8 oz), but it’s more than enough. Once you realize that cats have small stomachs and generally do better with large gaps between meals, you realize they are being fed enough. My cat did get super used to Friskies so I had to resort to halfing it with the Wellness dry food I was giving him in one of the cat treat balls, since he knew that. My cat preferred the wet food more so he stopped eating the dry. From there I increased the Tiki Cat portions but started putting 3-4 Greenies with each meal as an incentive to eat it. Three days of that so far and we’re doing pretty good. Will only continue buying Tiki Cat poultry varieties from here on. Thanks for offering such a great option! One of the best on the market.

This appears to be quality cat food, alas My baby does not like it.

I absolutely love this cat food... & kitty does even more! I like it because you can see exactly what they are eating. Nothing but protein, no fillers, non-GMO. Thats exactly what cats need since they are strictly carnivores. There's no nasty jelly like substance like the cheap regular grocery store cat food has. It has a decent amount of broth, which my cat loves and drinks 1st. It keeps her hydrated. I love all things Tiki Cat brand for my fur baby! Its also a better price on Amazon then I've seen in stores and it comes very fast! If I was a cat this is what I would prefer.
