A must for long skating sessions
These little ankle pads are real GameChanger. I don’t need them to just take a 30 minute skating class, but if I wanna be on the ice for a 2 hour community skate session with my kids, I will 100% have blisters by the end if I don’t wear these. They’re very comfortable and don’t affect the fit of my skates. I’m a beginner level skater. I also where the toeless nylon “socks” on top of these with that have gel pads in them for the front lower part of your shin, to prevent the pinch of “lace bite”. They work as a good team to make skating comfortable and they help hold the discs in place on my ankles. Helpful pain relief
I’m an amputee and these are working so well with my liner. Definitely recommend using this if you’re looking for something to make your prosthetic a little less painful this is the way to go. They are silicone so they are very durable and lightweight. The bone on my stump is where I use them and I wouldn’t even know that they are on. So comfortable. It really eases some of the pain. Worth the price. But if Amazon wants to send me some freebies I wouldn’t mind.

Good padding, bad at staying in place
Decent thickness, they do help protect my ankles when they stay in place. That being said, they don't stay in place well unless you're wearing very tight socks. Keeping around in case they work better in different shoes.

Haglund's relief
Great for Haglund's bumps. I put between thin inner sock and outer thicker wool sock, placing about 3/4 inch above bottom of heel, wing at top. No slipping hiking 15 miles -- over dozens of times. No evidence they'll wear out, rinses clean. Much better than taping and other padding. Better than the gel pad sewn within sock sleeve.

Handy if you're in a pinch and need a quick barrier
They are decent sized silicone rounds, which seem to fit fine over the ankle bone. They DO NOT adhere to the skin itself. Must be worn with a sleeve, or tighter sock as they do slide around. I wouldn't spend the money again, but will keep around just incase. I would not recommend for anyone with limited dexterity, they were tough to wiggle into place nevermind get your hand out of a sock without disrupting the placement, although using a sleeve ir tape would likely nix the issue.

Awesome
My husband loves these. Game-changer. He HAS to wear them every time he goes riding.

Good comfort!
Great for soft spots in hockey skates! My daughter hasn't complained about her feet hurting since she got them.
