Leading Your African American Church Through Pastoral Transitions

The research and writing style is one that breaths fresh air into a major function of all Churches at some time or another. I purchased several more copies for Pastors who are interim and new Pastors. I've been a pastor over 28 years, this book has helped me greatly. The research and experience of those who know about healthy Pastoral transitions obviously Love the Lord and God's people, a great help in keeping the Church together and heaven bound.

This book was very helpful. Our church is transitioning. Our pastor came to our church in February 2017 and suggested this book to the congregation. It helped us take a look at ourselves as a Christian body and to focus on God and not our individual agendas. Would recommend it for any congregation because we are continuously transitioning.

While generally speaking it was helpful, but didn't have information about a particular issuethat was of concern.
